Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in seeking God’s strength to resist temptation. The battle against sin, especially sins of the flesh, is real, and we know how fiercely the enemy seeks to ensnare believers in shame and bondage. But take heart: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
First, we must address the name you’ve invoked. While you’ve called upon "Jehovah God," we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of salvation. Without Him, we have no authority to stand against sin.
Now, regarding the sin of sexual perversion: Scripture is clear that such desires are not part of God’s design. "For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error" (Romans 1:26-27 WEB). This is not a condemnation of the person, but a call to repentance and holiness. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and He offers forgiveness and transformation to all who turn to Him.
We rebuke the spirit of perversion in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that your mind, body, and spirit belong to Christ, and we plead the blood of Jesus over every thought, memory, or temptation that seeks to enslave you. "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). You are not defined by this struggle, you are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and He is making all things new.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We lift up our brother/sister who is fighting this battle, and we ask for Your deliverance and strength. Lord, You know the depths of this struggle, and You are greater than any temptation. We ask that You break every chain of sexual sin and perversion in their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity and holiness.
Father, we pray for an increase in faith, as they have asked. Strengthen their resolve to resist the enemy, just as Jesus resisted Satan in the wilderness. Remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Surround them with godly accountability and fellowship, so they are not isolated in this fight.
Lord, if there has been any unrepentant sin, reveal it to them. Give them the courage to confess and turn away from it, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Renew their mind with Your Word, that they may no longer conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2).
We thank You, Jesus, for Your victory on the cross. We declare that this sin has no power over our brother/sister, for they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, healing, and freedom over them. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as they draw near to You.

You cry out for deliverance from the sin that entangles, and your plea for an increase of faith is the very breath of the Spirit within you. This is well, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification; as we are justified through Jesus Christ, so from Him must we receive sanctification from a heavenly source. The sin of sexual perversion is a fiery dart of the wicked, and there is but one shield that can quench it.
Take unto you the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Faith, even if it be as a grain of mustard seed, is a precious gift of God, and it is the instrument by which we overcome. Do not despise the littleness of your faith, for it is true faith if it begins and ends with Jesus. Little faith, like David’s sling, has slain the giant; like Ehud’s left-handed dagger, it has worked deliverance.
You say you would resist, but cannot trust? Then cast yourself upon the finished work of Christ. Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! He has found a ransom; the deliverance is certain, for the time of mercy struck when that ransom was accepted.
Look to Jesus, not merely for forgiveness, but for the power to walk in purity. He feels that if he ever rises from his despondency, the sinner can never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to himself, it must be of free grace only. He can do nothing, and he knows it! This is a blessed posture.
When you are weak, then are you strong, for Christ’s strength is made perfect in weakness. Do not let the enemy whisper that God’s ear is shut; that arrow is often shot, but it is a lie. Faith comforts the tried child of God by assuring him of the forgiveness of his sin and his security from punishment. The doctrine of final perseverance is bound up with the gospel itself; He who began a good work will carry it on to completion.
Therefore, lift up the hands that hang down. Faith can see an end and limit where nature’s dim eyes see endless confusion. Continue to resist, steadfast in the faith, and you shall yet sing songs of deliverance, for He who brought you forth when the Lamb was slain will make your deliverance effectual.

You ask for faith to resist the sin that defiles the body, that temple of the Holy Spirit. This is a holy request, for the struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the evil one who stirs up these burning temptations. Do not think your brother or even your own flesh is the source; it is the devil who moves men to dare such things. Therefore, resist not merely the act but the evil one himself. Stand firm, and he will flee from you, for nothing can resist the shield of faith.
But how is this faith to be had? Not by idle wishing, but when we have rightly performed all our duties. You must do your part: flee from the occasions of sin, guard your eyes, discipline your body, and fill your mind with holy things. The woman with the issue of blood dared not approach Christ publicly, yet she pressed through the crowd in secret, saying, “If I may only touch His garment, I shall be whole.” Her faith made her bold, and she was delivered. See what manner of people surrounded the Lord, publicans and sinners, and still she hoped. So you too must hope, no matter how many times you have fallen. The Lord is not ashamed to be touched by the unclean who come in faith.
Faith needs a generous and vigorous soul, one that rises above the weakness of human reasonings and the pull of the senses. Do not despair if you feel weak; even Sarah, who laughed in unbelief, afterwards showed faith when she feared and said, “I laughed not.” When unbelief is cleared out, faith enters. Let your struggle itself be a proof that faith is at work. The martyrs were tortured and would not accept deliverance, looking for a better resurrection. You now are called not to a bloody death but to a living sacrifice: to despise the fleeting pleasures of sin and so obtain a better life. Do you not see? God often does not promise deliverance from the trial but permits us to undergo it, granting a greater gift: the power to overcome. It is a sublimer thing to conquer the passion than never to feel it at all.
The Lord delivered Paul from the lion’s mouth, from the ferocity of Nero, and He will deliver you from every evil work. That is the greater deliverance: not to escape the danger, but to resist unto blood, striving against sin, and not yield to the devil. This is to be saved from condemnation, to be delivered from the true lion who seeks to devour souls. But you must resist the beginning. For if the first thoughts are despised, they grow into greater evils. Cut them off at once; give no place. A single spark, if quenched early, will not become a raging fire.
Let it be said of you that you are not careful about such bodily matters when compared with the life of faith. What does it matter if you are assaulted? It is faith that makes the difference. Put on Christ. He is your strength. The one who has put on Christ does not negotiate with filthiness but tramples on the serpent. Do not ask for an easy battle; ask for a sure victory. And you will see that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it. Hold fast; the trial is temporary, but the crown is eternal.
