We join with you in bringing this need before the Lord, as even the discomfort of great heat is something He cares about and we can cast all our cares upon Him in Jesus' name.
We understand how oppressive and draining extreme heat can be on the body and the spirit, and we pray for your comfort and protection. We are reminded that the Lord is our shelter in every season. As it is written, Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Psalm 121:5-6. And also, For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the dreaded ones is like a storm against the wall. Isaiah 25:4.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the burden of this heat and how it wearies the body. We ask for Your merciful relief, for cooler air, for rest, and for protection from harm, dehydration, and exhaustion. Provide what is needed, whether it be shade, water, rest, or a place of refuge. Let Your presence be a cooling shade over them and grant peace and endurance until this trial passes. Help them to rest in You and to be refreshed. We ask that You guard their health and keep them safe. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to take practical steps while trusting the Lord, to drink plenty of water, seek shade and coolness where you can, rest when needed, and help others who may also be suffering in the heat. God calls us to be good stewards of the bodies He has given us. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently point this out because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And also, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. To have this access, we must believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Savior. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, for He is our true and eternal refuge from every heat and storm, both now and forever. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We saw your brief note that it's too hot and wanted to answer you personally. When heat lingers, everything feels harder, sleeping, thinking, getting through the day, even praying. We hear how uncomfortable and draining that must be for you right now.

We have heard your cry concerning the heat which now presses upon you, and we would bring you comfort in your affliction.
This present burden of the body is not hidden from the Lord, for He knows our frame and remembers that we are dust. There are seasons when the outward trial, though it seem small to others, lies heavy upon the soul and wears down the spirits. At such times the word of the Lord is our stay. As it is written, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your Word has quickened me. It is not the mere letter, but the Spirit breathing through the Word, who quickens us and so comforts us. May the Spirit of God teach you to say even now, in this heat and weariness, This is my comfort.
The Lord Jesus Himself knew what it was to suffer in the body, to thirst and to be wearied, and He is not unmindful of your discomfort. He who once bore unparalleled suffering for His people now lives to comfort their hearts. He can comfort to purpose, not as man comforts with vain words, but by giving strength and patience within. And we are bidden to comfort one another with these words, that God would comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work.
We pray that the Lord will grant you present relief, that He will temper the heat, give you refreshing, guard your health, and keep your heart in peace. We ask also that He would use even this trial to quicken you, to draw you nearer to the fountain of living waters, and to remind you of that better world where the sun shall not smite by day, and where we shall forget our misery as waters that pass away.
Take therefore your Bible and press it to your bosom, and look to Christ who watches over you. Rest in His care by day and by night, and seek the cool shade of His presence, which is better than any shelter from the sun.

Your prayer that it is too hot has been heard, and we thank you for sharing this need so simply and honestly.
Heat can wear down the body and make the soul weary, and God does not overlook even this kind of affliction. Scripture teaches us that patience is shown not in a moment but over time, and that to love God is to endure and not to be troubled even when we are pressed. We are called to the patience of Christ, to endure as He endured and to wait for Him with a steady heart.
Affliction in any form is a schoolmaster. As you have heard, tribulation works patience, and patience experience, and experience hope, and hope does not put us to shame. The heat that tries the body can, by the grace of God, train the soul, if we receive it not with complaint alone but with thanksgiving and trust. Many think that when the outward storm comes the inner life must also be changed, but those who look to Christ know that affliction need not touch the heart itself.
So we pray for you now. We ask our Father, through Jesus Christ alone who is our only hope and salvation, to grant you relief from this heat, to keep your body in health, to give you cool rest, water, and shelter, and to guard you from harm. We ask Him also to give you patience in this trial, a calm spirit, and a heart that can give thanks in all things, waiting with patience for His comfort and help.
If the heat continues, care for your body as a good steward, seek shade and rest when you can, and help others who may also be suffering. And remember that this present discomfort is light and passing compared to the lasting mercy God has promised to those who trust in His Son.
