Flight and airport

Jesus, er are so tired, my daughter and myself. I dont think I support her enough because of this and feeling so off, Jesus please help me. Come with Your peace, Jesus - let me feel You close to us and that everything will be okay. Jesus take my impatience and frara away. Bless my daughter so she feels safe with me, Jesus. In Jesus name amen

We hear your weariness and your cry for help, and we lift you and your daughter up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion. Travel can indeed be exhausting, both physically and emotionally, and it’s clear you are carrying a heavy burden of concern for your daughter’s well-being. Your plea for Jesus’ peace and presence is a beautiful reminder of where our strength and comfort come from, only in Him.

First, let us affirm that your desire to support your daughter is a reflection of God’s love working in you. The fact that you are aware of your own struggles, impatience, fear, feeling "off", shows humility and a heart that longs to depend on Christ. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." You are already doing what God calls you to do by bringing your concerns to Him in prayer. His peace is not dependent on your circumstances but on His faithfulness.

We also want to gently remind you that your daughter’s sense of safety is not solely your responsibility. While you play a vital role as her mother, her ultimate security comes from the Lord. Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." You can trust Him to be her protector and comforter, even when you feel inadequate. That doesn’t mean you stop caring or supporting her, it means you lean on God to fill in the gaps where you fall short.

Let us pray for you both now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious mother and daughter, asking for Your peace to envelop them like a warm embrace. Lord, You see their exhaustion and the weight of their hearts. We ask that You would renew their strength, as Isaiah 40:31 promises: "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Lift their weariness, Father, and replace it with Your supernatural rest.

Jesus, we ask that You draw near to them in this season of travel and uncertainty. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, through a kind word from a stranger, a moment of unexpected calm, or the quiet assurance that You are with them. Take away their impatience and fear, Lord, and fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Help this mother to release the burden of feeling like she must be enough on her own. Remind her that You are her sufficiency and that her daughter is ultimately in Your hands.

We pray for this daughter, Lord. Bless her with a deep sense of safety and security, not just in her mother’s care, but in Yours. Let her feel Your love surrounding her, protecting her, and guiding her. If there are any anxieties or fears she is carrying, we ask that You would speak peace to her heart and mind. Help her to see her mother as a reflection of Your love, even in moments of weakness.

Father, we also ask that You would bless their journey. Whether they are in the air, on the ground, or in the midst of transitions, go before them and make their paths smooth. Provide for their needs, protect them from harm, and grant them moments of joy and connection along the way. Let this time of travel be an opportunity for them to grow closer to You and to each other.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would continue to work in this mother’s heart. Help her to see herself as You see her, a beloved daughter, called and equipped for the role You’ve given her. Give her the wisdom to know how to support her daughter in ways that honor You, and the grace to extend that same love and patience to herself.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who calms the storms and quiets the anxious heart. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. When you feel overwhelmed, remember that He is your refuge (Psalm 91:2). When you feel impatient, ask Him to help you wait on His timing (Lamentations 3:25). And when you feel like you’re failing, remember that His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

You are not alone in this, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you and your daughter (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He will lead you both through this season with His peace and provision.

We hear the weight in these words, the travel-tiredness that makes everything feel harder, and the ache of wondering if you’re supporting your daughter enough when your own reserves feel empty. It’s such a tender thing to hold: longing to be a safe place for her while feeling so frayed yourself. Travel has a way of stripping away our buffers, and the exhaustion can easily masquerade as impatience or fear. But the very fact that you’re crying out for Jesus in this moment tells us something true about you: your heart is turned toward your daughter’s safety, even when your body is depleted.

When we’re weary and “off,” we often assume our children need us to be perfectly steady. But more often, what they need is simply to know we’re with them. Your presence, even a tired, honest, faltering presence, is enough. You don’t have to hide the tiredness from her; letting her see that you both need God’s help can be its own kind of shelter. It teaches her that it’s okay to be fragile and to lean on Jesus together.

As a gentle next step, perhaps in the middle of the airport chaos, you can find a quiet spot, by a window, a less crowded gate, and just sit with her for a few minutes. Tell her you’re both tired and that you’re asking Jesus to wrap His peace around you. Even a whispered “Jesus, help us” together can shift something inside. You don’t need a long prayer; you just need His nearness.

Lord Jesus, we come with this weary mom and her daughter right now, in the noise and hurry of the airport. Quiet their hearts. Let them feel Your closeness as tangibly as the seats they’re resting in. Lift the fog of exhaustion and replace it with a gentle, steady peace. Ease the impatience and fear, and let this daughter feel deeply safe in her mom’s care, not because everything is perfect, but because You are with them. Carry them the rest of this journey. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The cry of weariness reaches the throne of grace, and it is heard. That very lassitude of body and mind which you describe is no strange thing to the pilgrims of Zion; many pass through fire and through water, and men do ride over their heads. Yet here is your comfort: it is not your own strength of nerve or steadiness of spirit that keeps you or your dear child, but the unfailing faithfulness of Him who has said, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You." This peace is not merely peace, it is peace, peace; a double peace, a solid and immovable rest which the world cannot give and the weariness of travel cannot steal away. When you feel your impatience rising and your frame trembling with fatigue, do not look within to find some untapped well of patience, for that is to turn to a broken cistern. Look wholly out of yourself, and stay your mind on God. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty; but trust in the Lord brings that perfect calm in which He works our works for us.

You lament that you do not support your daughter as you ought. But see how the Lord deals with His own children: when He wants to comfort us, what does He do? He quickens us, and so He comforts us. Sometimes the roundabout way is the straight way. The comfort you ask for may not descend as a sudden feeling of ease, but as a fresh quickening of the inward life, a renewed grip upon the Word of promise. It is better to be the most afflicted child of God with a living faith, than to be the happy worldling with a dead soul. If you can say, "Whatever pain I suffer, whatever grief I endure, yet I am a living child of God," then you have a wellspring of comfort! That quickening word brings patience, and patience breeds a quiet hope. Your daughter will feel the safety of your care not when you are a perfect tower of strength in yourself, but when you are leaning wholly upon the everlasting arms. A child does not say, "If my father is angry with me, it does not matter; he will not kill me." No, a child longs for the father’s smile. So bring your confessed weakness before your heavenly Father and say, "My Father, will You not comfort my heart? Will You let Your child despond?" He hears; He will ordain peace for you.

The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. That peace is a present possession, to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life. When you rise from a scanty sleep, when you face the press and clamour of the airport, when your temper frays and your frame aches, you are to do the will of Jesus, and this is rest. There is the secret, not in arranging circumstances to our liking, but in accepting them as from His hand and seeking to do His will in them. Cast your burden upon Him; He will sustain you. As for the safety of your daughter, remember that death itself is the last enemy, and Jesus has vanquished it; how much more shall He guard her heart and yours in these lesser trials! You shall forget this misery, and remember it as waters that pass away. Go, then, with this staff in your hand: "Lord, You will ordain peace for us: for You also have worked all our works in us." Pray without ceasing in your spirit, and though your steps be heavy, your heart may yet sing, for the God of patience and consolation is with you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The tiredness you feel is not a sign of love’s absence but of its heavy labor. A father full of affection cannot see his child’s need without travail; so Paul cried out with a mother’s pangs, and so your own heart now burns. Yet this very ache proves the bond God has knit, for by commingling of care and life you become one flesh in sympathy. Do not despise the narrow way of exhaustion; it is the path where Christ meets you, not a mark of His indifference.

Peace is the mother of all good things, and He who stilled the storm gives it freely. When the angel warned Joseph, it was not to shame his fear but to direct his steps: “Take the young Child and His mother.” So now He sees your journey and your child, and He does not leave you to bear it alone. The silence that feels like His distance is often the preparation for His sudden nearness, as in the days of Noah when many were lost in ease while the faithful were preserved by hidden design. Do not let the world’s false peace or the demon of agitation steal this truth: He is with you, and His presence turns even an airport into a place of refuge.

Think on these things: whatsoever is true about His promises, whatsoever is honorable in your care for your daughter, whatsoever is pure in a parent’s self-giving. If there be any virtue or praise in clinging to Him through weariness, let your mind dwell there. Your impatience and frayed nerves He can use as the very ground to show His strength. You are not required to work miracles of perfect calm; by kindness, gentleness, and leaning on Him, you convert these moments into a sanctuary. Both of you are His little ones for whom angels watch; both are safer in His hand than in any human certainty.

Ask not to feel everything will be okay, but to know He has already taken your flesh and your frailty and hallowed them. Your daughter will see, even in your trembling, a mother who runs to the only real safety. That is a far greater blessing than the false peace of those who speak of safety while living in luxury of spirit.

It is no small thing to feel so drained, and yet you are doing exactly what you need to do right now: you are calling on Jesus. That weariness you and your daughter are carrying, that fog that makes it hard to support her the way you long to, you have laid it right at His feet. And He hears. There is a peace that He gives that is entirely His own. Not the fleeting calm the world offers, but a deep, steady peace that remains even when your body is tired and your nerves are frayed. Jesus promised to leave that peace with us, and He does not break His word.

That impatience and frazzled feeling you asked Him to take, you can release it to Him moment by moment. When your mind starts to spin, turn it deliberately toward Him. Even a whisper, “Jesus, I trust You,” reorients your heart. Scripture tells us that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. He is not asking you to muster strength you do not have. He is inviting you to lean your full weight on Him, and as you do, a quietness that does not make sense to the world will begin to guard your heart and your thoughts.

He has not forgotten you in this airport, in this tiredness. His thoughts toward you are for peace, not for evil. He sees you trying to care for your daughter, and He is able to steady you. You do not need to be afraid of sudden panics or the sense of being overwhelmed; He is your confidence. He will keep your foot from being taken. Breathe, and let His peace be the anchor for your own heart, so that your daughter can sense that safety you long to provide. You have already brought this to Him in Jesus’ name, and that is the surest place for it to be.
