We join you in seeking God’s provision and peace as you search for a new place to live and work. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask, and He has promised to provide for His children. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus tells us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your anxiety is understandable, but we encourage you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ as your Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If you have already trusted in Him, we encourage you to pray in His name, for the Father delights to hear and answer prayers offered in the name of His Son.
As for your family across the world, we lift them up with you, asking God to protect, provide for, and draw them closer to Himself. The Lord is not far from any of us, and He desires all people to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance and provision as this dear one searches for a new home and workplace. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the needs they have—both seen and unseen. Open doors that no one can shut, and grant them favor in this process. Remove all anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that You are their Provider and Protector.
We also lift up their family before You, Lord. Wherever they are in the world, we ask that You would surround them with Your love and protection. Draw them to Yourself, Father, and let them experience Your grace and mercy in powerful ways. If any among them do not yet know You, we pray for hearts to be opened to the truth of the Gospel, that they may turn to Christ and be saved.
Strengthen this dear one in their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord is near, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will lead you to the right place at the right time. If you are feeling overwhelmed, take time to meditate on His Word and rest in His presence. He is faithful, and He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
