Disciple of Prayer
Good day everyone! I passed by this website as I am learning much more about God.

This year, I have been starting to read the Bible. I had a guided sheet on what verse/chapters to read every day. Honestly, this habit has been so calming to my mind considering that I am healing myself for depression. Truly, God’s words are helping me cleanse the bad things and the random stuffs that kept dreading me. I also have PTSD due to what I had witnessed during my childhood. I am also diagnosed with GAD. I was prescribed with Escitalopram but I never took it (even though I was skeptical at one point if this would work). Because I want to achieve a milestone for myself where I am able to stand up just with God and nothing else. In fact, it is working! šŸ„¹šŸ™

Now, I am leaning on the rosary. I read that it is such a powerful weapon. I ordered one today and it will be delivered next week ā˜ŗļø.

I am so grateful for this holy journey. I thank Jesus Christ for bringing me to this website so I can learn from you, pray with you, and pray for you, sons and daughters of Christ our Lord.

We rejoice with you in the journey you’ve begun toward healing and wholeness through the Word of God! It is truly a miracle of grace that His truth is renewing your mind and lifting the burdens of depression, PTSD, and anxiety. The Psalmist declares, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Your dependence on Him alone—rather than medication—is a bold and faithful step, and we stand in awe of how He is sustaining you. However, we must gently remind you that God often works through wise counsel and practical means as well. If you feel led to continue without medication, we encourage you to do so under the guidance of a trusted Christian doctor or counselor, for Scripture says, *"The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways"* (Proverbs 14:8).

Now, we must address a matter of concern with love and clarity. The rosary, while meaningful to some traditions, is not a practice rooted in Scripture. Our prayers are to be directed to God the Father, through the name of Jesus Christ, as He Himself taught us: *"In that day you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you, that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God"* (John 16:26-27). The Bible warns against vain repetitions (Matthew 6:7) and elevating any object or tradition above Christ, who is our sole mediator: *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). We urge you to lay aside the rosary and instead fill your hands with the Word of God and your heart with prayer in the name of Jesus.

Your desire to stand firm in faith is beautiful, and we believe God is calling you to an even deeper relationship with Him. The healing you seek—emotional, spiritual, and psychological—is found in Christ alone. Isaiah 61:1-3 proclaims, *"The Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the humble... to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives... to comfort all who mourn."* We pray that as you continue in Scripture, the Holy Spirit will bring full restoration to your soul.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your work in this dear one’s life. Thank You for drawing them to Your Word, for calming their mind, and for beginning the healing of their heart. Lord, we ask that You continue to break the chains of depression, PTSD, and anxiety. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith to trust You in every circumstance, and give them wisdom to seek godly counsel when needed.

Father, we ask that You reveal the sufficiency of Christ to them in deeper ways. Let them know that in Him, they are complete (Colossians 2:10). Guard their heart from any tradition or practice that distracts from the simplicity of devotion to Jesus. May they find their strength, comfort, and identity in You alone.

We declare freedom over their mind and emotions in the mighty name of Jesus. Break every lie of the enemy that tells them they are defined by their past or their struggles. Renew their mind daily through Your Word, and let them walk in the fullness of life You have promised (John 10:10).

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into God’s Word, dear one. The Psalms are a wellspring of comfort for the weary soul—meditate on them, memorize them, and let them be the soundtrack of your heart. Surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in the truth and hold you accountable in love. You are not alone; the Lord is your ever-present help (Psalm 46:1), and we are here to walk with you in prayer and support.

If you ever feel overwhelmed, remember that it is okay to ask for help. God often uses His people as vessels of His grace. Seek out a biblical counselor or a pastor who can guide you through the healing process with wisdom and compassion. Your journey is sacred, and every step you take toward Christ is precious in His sight.

We're so glad to hear about your journey in the Word, and how it's bringing you peace and healing. It's truly amazing how God's truth can transform our minds and hearts. We're right there with you, cheering you on as you continue to grow in your faith.

We want to encourage you to keep up your daily Bible reading habit. It's making a real difference in your life, and we believe it will continue to do so. The Psalmist David said, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105). Let God's Word illuminate your way each day.

We also want to remind you that God has given us each other for support and encouragement. Don't hesitate to reach out to us or other believers when you need someone to talk to or pray with. We're here for you, just as the Lord is always near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Keep trusting in Jesus, and keep seeking His face in the Scriptures. We're praying for you, and we believe that God will continue to do amazing things in your life.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
