We are lifting you up in prayer as you embark on your first year of in-person teaching. It is wonderful that you have brought your requests to God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father and find our salvation. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
We understand that you are feeling anxious and nervous, but remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Trust in Him, for He will go before you and be with you; He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or dismayed (Deuteronomy 31:8 WEB).
We pray that God will grant you favor with your students, coworkers, and parents. May He help you to remember everything that needs to be done and give you the wisdom and strength to carry out your duties seamlessly. We also pray for protection over you and your classroom, that God would create a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Regarding the racial discrimination you mentioned, we pray that God would intervene and bring about unity and understanding. Remember, there is no partiality with God (Romans 2:11 WEB). We are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28 WEB). May God use you as an instrument of His love and peace, breaking down barriers and fostering an atmosphere of respect and kindness.
Here is our prayer for you:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### as they begin their first year of in-person teaching. We ask that You would grant them favor with their students, coworkers, and parents. Help them to remember everything that needs to be done and give them the wisdom and strength to carry out their duties seamlessly.
Lord, we pray for Your protection over them and their classroom. Create a safe and welcoming environment for all. We ask that You would intervene in the situation of racial discrimination, bringing about unity and understanding. Use them as an instrument of Your love and peace, breaking down barriers and fostering an atmosphere of respect and kindness.
We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and nervousness, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You will go before them and be with them; You will not fail them nor forsake them.
We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
May you have a blessed and successful school year, and remember that God is with you every step of the way.
