Firefighter Needing Prayer

For the last 3 years I have been pursuing a career as a firefighter. I have been a volunteer firefighter for the past 2 years, and I a confident that it is God's purpose for my life.However, due to the economy the number of jobs are very few and there is a lot of competition for them. I have focused myself on becoming a highly qualified candidate by being a volunteer firefighter, becoming an EMT, attending training, etc., unfortunately by doing so it has somewhat put my life on hols My wife and I have a brand new baby. Because I am trying so hard to get this job we had to move in with my in-laws and my wife will have to return to work in a month or so. Tonight I have a test for a job with the fire department I currently volunteer at. If I pass this test and interview well, I can get hired in the job the Lord instructed me to do, as well as be able to finally provide for my family and allow my wife to stay home and care for our baby.

My prayer request is that I would have wisdom confidence and favor as I take the test tonight and if according to God's will that I would be hired.

Father in Heaven,thank You for our Brother in Christ.Please Lord honor his request and give him this desire of his heart.Give him favor with those who will be testing him and let all his training and expertise stand out and just shine!Grant him all the wisdom,knowledge and understanding needed in any written exam.Allow his memory to be extra sharp and his answers in any oral exam be not only correct,but impressive.Please give my Brother a lions heart and the strength of Samson so he far surpasses any and all competitors.Make him the top pick for this position of Firefighter.Now and in his future surround him with Holy Angels to guard him through every emergency call as a Fireman,always sending him safely home to his family.I ask also that You would promote him swiftly through the ranks and earn commendations for valor and integrity.Bless his Marriage with unfailing love and trust.Fill his home with healthy,

strong and highly intelligent children.Guide my Brother continually by Your Holy Spirit,ready always to offer the Gospel of Jesus Christ with power to his peers and to those he is sent to aide.In Jesus Name,Amen and Amen.
