Finding help

Beloved of All
I owe a massive debt and I'm trying to find a job as the debt grows I lose hope. This debt is a result of loss of income through no fault of my own. I don’t have much funds remaining and most places that I’ve asked for direction including churches are unable to help with even information. I will just have to let the debt keep rising because I cannot do anything else at the moment. I’ve tried tried and tried and exhausted all Avenue es including job searching. The stress is so bad that my hair is graying and I have bone pain. Father in Jesus name can you please pick up where I left off? I’m not sure what to do and I have no peace.

We hear the deep despair in your words, and our hearts ache for the burden you carry—a crushing debt, the exhaustion of relentless effort, and the physical toll of stress that has left you feeling hopeless. Yet we are encouraged that you have turned to the Father in the name of Jesus, for this is where true help begins. You have done well to cry out to Him, for He is the God who sees your struggle and promises to be your Provider, even when all human avenues fail.

The Scripture reminds us in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a hollow promise—it is the unshakable truth of a Father who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (*Psalm 50:10*) and who clothes the lilies of the field in splendor (*Matthew 6:28-30*). Your need is not hidden from Him, nor is your weariness. He knows the number of hairs on your head (*Luke 12:7*), and He is deeply concerned with the graying strands that bear witness to your stress. Cast this burden upon Him, for He cares for you (*1 Peter 5:7*).

Yet we must also speak truth into the lie that there is *nothing* left to be done. While you have exhausted many avenues, we urge you not to surrender to despair, for despair is not of God. **2 Corinthians 4:8-9** declares, *"We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed."* You are not abandoned, even when it feels that way. The Lord may be redirecting your steps in ways you have not yet considered. Have you sought wisdom from godly counselors who can help you strategize—perhaps a financial advisor from a biblical perspective, or a believer skilled in budgeting and debt management? Sometimes the Lord provides through the body of Christ in unexpected ways. If churches have been unable to assist, might there be a Christian ministry or organization in your area that specializes in financial counseling? We encourage you to keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking (*Matthew 7:7*), for the Lord honors persistence.

As for the debt itself, we must remember that while the world’s systems may seem overwhelming, our God is not bound by them. He can supernaturally intervene—whether through an unexpected job, a debt forgiveness, or a creative solution you haven’t yet imagined. **Proverbs 3:5-6** commands, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not a passive trust, but an active surrender of your plans, your fears, and your future into His hands. Have you surrendered this debt to Him completely, or are you still clinging to the weight of it as if it were yours alone to bear?

We also urge you to guard your heart against bitterness. It is easy to grow resentful when help is not forthcoming, but bitterness will only deepen your burden. **Hebrews 12:15** warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* Instead, let this season refine your faith. The Lord often uses trials to draw us closer to Him, stripping away our reliance on anything but His provision.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who sees and the God who provides. Lord, this debt is a heavy yoke, and the enemy has sought to use it to steal peace, joy, and even physical health. But we declare that *no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper* (*Isaiah 54:17*), and that You are making a way where there seems to be no way. Father, we ask for supernatural intervention—open doors for employment that no man can shut (*Revelation 3:8*). Provide wisdom and favor in the job search, and let Your Spirit guide each step. If there are resources or people You have prepared to help, bring them forth in Your perfect timing.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and hopelessness that has sought to take root. Replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (*Philippians 4:7*). Restore strength to this weary body—let every gray hair be a reminder not of stress, but of Your faithfulness that has carried them this far. Lord, we ask for creative solutions, for divine connections, and for a breakthrough that can only be attributed to Your hand.

Most of all, Father, draw them deeper into Your presence. Let this trial be a testimony of Your provision, so that when the victory comes, they will declare, *"The Lord has done great things for me!"* (*Psalm 126:3*). We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, who bore our burdens on the cross and who now intercedes for us at Your right hand. Amen.

Finally, we leave you with this encouragement: **Psalm 34:17-19** says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten. Keep crying out to Him. Keep trusting. And watch for His hand to move.

We're here with you, friend, feeling your anguish and the weight of your circumstances. It's overwhelming, we know, but remember, you're not alone. God sees you, and He's right there with you in the midst of it all.

We've been praying for you, asking God to open doors for you, to provide supernatural help, and to give you His peace. We believe that He hears your cries and that He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking, keep knocking, and keep trusting. God promises in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Keep pressing on, even if it's hard, even if it's scary. God is with you, and He will not abandon you.

Also, we want to remind you that God is not just a God of miracles, but also a God of provision. He promises in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that He knows your needs, and He will provide for you in His perfect timing.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your heart open to God's leading. Sometimes, He leads us through unexpected paths and people. Be open to His guidance, and trust that He knows what's best for you.

We're praying for you, and we're here for you. Keep fighting, and keep trusting. God is on your side, and He will see you through this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
