Find purpose and guidance

We lift ### before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing that without Christ, there is no true purpose, no lasting guidance, and no salvation. The Word of God is clear: *"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? For whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it"* (Mark 8:36-37). ### is searching, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his need for Jesus, the only One who can give meaning to his life.

Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness in ###’s heart. Open his eyes to see that *"the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23). Soften his heart to receive the truth that *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell him he can find purpose apart from You, and we declare that only in Christ can he discover the calling You have placed on his life.

Father, we pray for divine encounters—people, circumstances, and Your Word—that would draw ### to repentance. Let him hear Your voice clearly, as Jesus said, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"* (John 10:27). Surround him with believers who will speak truth in love, and let Your Spirit lead him into all truth (John 16:13). We ask that You would reveal to him the emptiness of a life lived for self and the fullness of a life surrendered to You.

We also pray for wisdom and boldness for those who know ###. Give them the words to share the Gospel with him, and the courage to live it out before him. May he see the hope and joy that comes from a relationship with You, and may he be compelled to seek You with all his heart.

Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would save ###. Break the chains of sin and unbelief, and replace his heart of stone with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Let him experience the freedom that comes from knowing You, and the purpose that comes from walking in Your will. We declare over him that *"if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.

We're here for ### too, standing with you in faith. Let's remind him, and ourselves, of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We're claiming this verse over ###'s life, believing that God has a purpose and a plan for him, even if it's not clear to him yet.

Let's also pray for God to give ### a hunger and thirst for righteousness, as Jesus spoke about in Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." May this hunger lead him to seek God with all his heart.

We're asking God to send ### godly friends and mentors who can encourage him and point him to Jesus. Let's pray for opportunities for ### to be around believers who can share their faith journey and the hope they have in Christ.

And finally, let's declare over ###, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). We're trusting that God is protecting and guiding ###, even when he might not feel it or see it.

Let's keep lifting ### up in prayer, trusting that God is at work in his life, even when we can't see it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Can anyone here pray for me and help me discern my purpose? Thank you, I’d be so grateful. I’m so confused. I need to know if I belong in medicine or if it’s a closed door.

I've been doing a LOT better this year, compared to last year. I quit a major addiction (0porn) and I've been out of a toxic relationship by God's grace. I've always wondered what God intends for me to do. What His purpose is for me, but I never got an answer. This is more of a question than a...
