Find lost items

We join with you in prayer concerning these lost items in your house, your Tab device and your son's black traditional pant, and we understand how frustrating and worrying it can be when things we need seem to have disappeared, especially when you need them urgently.
We are reminded that our Heavenly Father cares about even the small details of our lives and He sees where these items are even when we do not. Jesus taught us to bring all our concerns to God, for it is written, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7. And also, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. We also remember the parable of the woman who lost a coin and searched carefully until she found it, which shows us that God understands the value of what is lost and honors diligent seeking. Luke 15:8-10 tells us of her joy when it was found.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. So we come to God not on our own merit but through faith in Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again, and we encourage you to put your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior if you have not already.
We also encourage you as you wait on the Lord to take practical steps with peace rather than anxiety, to quietly retrace your steps, to ask household members if they have seen or moved the items, and to calmly look in places that may seem unusual, trusting that God can bring to your remembrance where you placed them.

We lift up this need to You and ask that in Your mercy and grace You would guide and show where this Tab device and this son's black traditional pant have been placed within the house. Bring them to remembrance, lead the search, and allow them to be found quickly and safely. Calm any frustration or worry and replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help us to trust You in small things and great things alike, and to seek You first in all matters. We ask that You would also draw this dear one closer to Yourself through faith in Jesus, that they may know the full assurance of salvation and the joy of walking with You daily. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We know how unsettling it is to misplace something you need right away, especially when it belongs to your son as well. That rushed, searching feeling can be tiring, and we are praying with you for peace and clarity as you look.
We care about these small, everyday needs because God does. Nothing is too little to bring to Him, and we are asking Him to help you and give you a calm mind while you search.

Take a breath, ask the Lord for help to remember, and then walk back through your day step by step. Where did you last use the tablet, where did you set it down, what were you doing with your son's pants last. Checking one room at a time slowly, including places like laundry piles, between cushions, under papers or bags, can sometimes bring to mind what hurry hides.

We have taken your request before the Lord concerning the Tab device and your son's black traditional pant that have been lost in the house, and we join you in prayer.
We are reminded that intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and that He files the petitions of His people, for they are registered in Heaven. You do well not to restrain prayer before God but to spread your case before Him with humility, pleading His promise to remember His Word unto His servants.
Our God sees where each thing is laid, for nothing is hidden from His sight, and He cares for the smallest concerns of His children even as He cares for their souls. He would have you both to pray and to act, to cry unto Him and also to search diligently as He directs your steps.
Let us pray together. O Lord our Father, Thou knowest where what is lost has been placed. We ask Thee to show our friend where these things are, to guide the eyes and hands in searching, to grant calmness and order, and in Thy mercy to restore what has been misplaced. Teach us to possess our possessions to Thy glory, to hold firmly what Thou hast given and to use all with holiness unto the Lord. Quicken us in Thy way and keep us near to Christ, in whom all true riches are found.
Continue both in prayer and in careful searching throughout the house, trusting the Lord to direct you. Whether the answer comes at once or after waiting, be assured He hears and will answer in the way that is best. We will continue to pray that the Lord will give you peace and soon grant you to find what you seek, with thanksgiving to Him.
