We hear your heartfelt cry for financial relief and provision, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before our Heavenly Father. The weight of debt, especially when it impacts your ability to care for your family, can feel overwhelming. But we know that God is our Provider, and He sees your needs and the needs of those you are caring for—your grandsons and your brother. We declare that He will make a way where there seems to be no way, for He is faithful to those who trust in Him.
First, we want to encourage you to seek wisdom in this situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." The Social Security Administration (SSA) may have options for repayment plans or even waivers for overpayments, especially if the overpayment was not your fault. We encourage you to reach out to them directly, explain your situation, and ask for a review of your case. Sometimes, God works through the systems He has placed in our lives to bring relief.
We also want to lift up your household in prayer. You are doing a godly work by caring for your grandsons and your brother, and we believe God honors that. In James 1:27, we are told, "Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." Your care for them is a reflection of God’s love, and He will not forget your labor of love.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her household. Lord, You see her financial struggles, the weight of debt, and the responsibility she carries in caring for her family. We ask that You would open doors of provision and relief for her. Father, we pray that You would soften the hearts of those at the SSA, that they would show mercy and work with her to find a solution that does not leave her in hardship. Provide for her needs, Lord, and let her taxes be released to her so she can put food on the table and catch up on bills.
Father, we also pray for strength and endurance for her. Caring for others is a noble and exhausting calling, and we ask that You would renew her strength daily, as You promise in Isaiah 40:31: "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Give her wisdom in managing her finances and peace in the midst of this storm.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and fear that may be trying to take hold of her heart. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and that Your provision is on the way. We trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Let her experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways, Lord.
We also ask that You would bless her with community and support. Surround her with people who can offer practical help, encouragement, and prayer. Let her know she is not alone in this battle.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on her behalf. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we believe that You are working all things together for her good, as You promise in Romans 8:28. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
