Hi, I am back and continue to ask prayer for our financial situation. Things have been discussed with a lawyer but they seem to be talking so long to get started. Please pray that we will hear something this week. We need to feel hope as we are getting discouraged and being drained financially. I asked for prayers in Jesus’s precious name, Amen

We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing this financial burden before the Lord, and we thank you for coming back and for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 tells us Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We understand how discouraging and draining it is to wait while finances are stretched thin and while legal matters seem to move so slowly. We know that feeling of hoping to hear something this week and wondering if help will come. We stand with you and we remind you that our hope is not ultimately in a lawyer or in a quick resolution, but in the Lord who sees your need and cares for you deeply.

Scripture encourages us to bring our anxieties to Him and to trust His provision. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Philippians 4:19 assures us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We also cling to Isaiah 40:31 which says But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. And Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and their household to You. You know the financial pressure they are under, You see every bill and every need, and You know the discouragement that has settled in their hearts. Lord, we ask that You would renew their hope and guard their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to them as well as Matthew 6:33 promises. We ask for Your hand upon the legal discussions and upon the lawyer, that You would grant wisdom, diligence and favor, and that if it is Your will, they would hear a clear and helpful update this week. Give them patience in the waiting and help them to wait upon You so their strength will be renewed. Teach them to cast all their cares upon You because You care for them, and to rest in the truth that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose as Romans 8:28 declares. Sustain them financially, emotionally and spiritually, and let them feel Your nearness and Your hope even in this draining season. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this matter to the Lord daily with thanksgiving, even while you wait, and to keep clear and gracious communication with the lawyer as God gives opportunity. Keep trusting that God is your ultimate provider and that He will make your paths straight as you acknowledge Him. Do not lose heart, for Yahweh hears the cry of the righteous and He is near to those whose hearts are heavy. We continue to stand with you in prayer, asking God to supply, to encourage, and to open the right doors in His perfect timing.

We hear how exhausting this has been, coming back again with the same burden and feeling drained while you wait. Waiting on a lawyer when money is already tight can make every day feel longer, and it makes sense you are feeling discouraged and asking for hope this week.

We are standing with you in prayer for clarity and for some real movement soon. Legal work often moves slower than anyone wants, and that slowness can wear down hope. We are asking God to sustain you in the waiting and to give you wisdom for each next decision.

One small step that sometimes helps in a season like this is to ask for a clear timeline in writing. If you are able this week, consider calling the office and asking simply what the next step is and when you might expect to hear, and write down what they say. Having it on paper can make it easier to track and to rest a little between updates. If finances feel very stretched, a trusted local counselor or church benevolence contact can also help you look at immediate pressures together.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the financial strain and the discouragement of waiting. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for the lawyer and for those making decisions, and for a hopeful sign this week if it is Your will. Provide what is needed day by day and remind them they are not alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have received your renewed request and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace. To be wearied in the length of the way and to feel hope deferred is a heavy trial, and to be drained and discouraged while waiting upon others to act can make the heart faint. Yet we are reminded that faith alone can keep a soul under discouragement seeking after Christ, and that He is the sinner's only hope when we are made to feel how utterly powerless we are in ourselves.

We do not place our hope in the hand of man, nor in the process of law, though we may thankfully use lawful means. Our lively hope is begotten again by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and it is a hope that does not wither when earthly prospects are slow. The Lord who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Christ, and He will not suffer His people to be moved from the hope of their calling.

Let us pray for you.

Our Father in heaven, in the precious name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, we bring this need before Thee. Thou seest the financial burden and the waiting that has been long and wearing. Grant wisdom and diligence to those who counsel in matters of law, and if it be Thy will, open the way for a clear word to come this week. Provide for every need according to Thy riches, sustain faith where discouragement presses, and let hope rise again in the heart that waits upon Thee. Keep this soul persevering in holiness and in trust, knowing that they shall not depart from Thee whom Thou hast kept. Give peace that passeth understanding, and supply strength for each day. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

We have heard your continued prayer and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in Jesus precious name.

We understand how heavy this financial burden has become and how discouraging it is to wait while discussions with the lawyer move so slowly. To feel drained and to long for some sign of hope is a very human trial, and God sees your weariness.

Scripture reminds us that we have need of patience, that after we have done the will of God we might receive the promise. At times we are like those who have fought a long contest and now must endure only the short delay before the crown is given. That waiting itself is not wasted. Patience works testing, and testing works hope, and hope does not disappoint because it is anchored not in circumstances but in God himself. Even when present things are difficult, we are taught to hold fast the rejoicing of hope, to glory as those who already have the good things promised in Christ, because our better hope draws us near to God.

We pray for you now that God, who knows your needs, will grant you comfort and strength in this delay. We ask that He will give wisdom and diligence to the lawyer and to all involved, and that if it is His will you will hear a clear answer this week. We ask that He will provide for your daily needs, guard you from discouragement, and renew your hope so that your heart is brightened even while the outward pressure remains. May He help you to use this time to rest more fully in His care, to trust His timing, and to know His peace that steadies the soul when resources feel thin.

We will continue to pray that the Lord sustains you, upholds you by His grace, and lets you see His faithful provision day by day. May you be strengthened to endure with hope, looking to Him who is faithful to His promises.
