We join you in lifting up your sister before the Lord today and we thank you for bringing her needs to us in prayer. We understand the weight of financial concerns and how much her job means for her stability and peace of mind, and we want to stand with you in asking God for His favor and protection over her.
We pray together for her. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear sister to You. We ask that You would be with her today in her workplace, that everything she puts her hand to would go well and that You would establish the work of her hands. Let Your favor be upon her, Psalm 90:17, and grant her wisdom, diligence, and peace as she works heartily as for You and not for men, Colossians 3:23. We ask that You would make her job secure, that You would guard her from harm and from any schemes against her, and that You would give her favor in the eyes of her employer and coworkers. You know her financial needs and we trust Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Help her to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be given to her as well, Matthew 6:33. Give her and her family peace today, casting all anxiety on You because You care for her.
We also want to gently encourage you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly come to God in prayer with confidence that He hears us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and to pray in His name, for He is our mediator and our hope.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with your sister's future. God is faithful and He sees her labor. Remind her that her work is not in vain when done for Him, and that He is her ultimate provider and protector. We will continue to pray that the Lord keeps her job safe and gives her strength and joy in her work today and in the days to come.
