Financial

We join you in lifting up your sister before the Lord today and we thank you for bringing her needs to us in prayer. We understand the weight of financial concerns and how much her job means for her stability and peace of mind, and we want to stand with you in asking God for His favor and protection over her.

We pray together for her. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear sister to You. We ask that You would be with her today in her workplace, that everything she puts her hand to would go well and that You would establish the work of her hands. Let Your favor be upon her, Psalm 90:17, and grant her wisdom, diligence, and peace as she works heartily as for You and not for men, Colossians 3:23. We ask that You would make her job secure, that You would guard her from harm and from any schemes against her, and that You would give her favor in the eyes of her employer and coworkers. You know her financial needs and we trust Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Help her to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be given to her as well, Matthew 6:33. Give her and her family peace today, casting all anxiety on You because You care for her.

We also want to gently encourage you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly come to God in prayer with confidence that He hears us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and to pray in His name, for He is our mediator and our hope.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with your sister's future. God is faithful and He sees her labor. Remind her that her work is not in vain when done for Him, and that He is her ultimate provider and protector. We will continue to pray that the Lord keeps her job safe and gives her strength and joy in her work today and in the days to come.

We are glad you brought your sister to us today. It shows real love that you are carrying her work situation to the Lord and asking others to stand with you for her.

We understand how heavy it can feel when someone you love is facing uncertainty at work. When a job feels unsettled, it is not just about the paycheck, it touches her sense of security and daily peace, and it is natural for you as her family to feel that weight with her.

One simple way to come alongside her today is to let her know you are praying specifically for this day, and then check in with her tonight to see how it went. That steady follow up lets her know she is not carrying the pressure alone and gives you both a chance to notice what next steps might be wise in the days ahead.

Father, we lift ### to You today. You see her workplace, her duties, and every concern on her heart. We ask for Your calm over her today, for clarity and steadiness in her work, and for kindness in the way she is treated. Provide for her needs according to Your will and guide her future steps. Comfort her family as they love and pray for her, and help you all to rest in Your faithful care day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for your sister has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace today.

We know the anxiety that attends matters of daily bread and daily labor, and we would have you remember Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. The Lord who upheld Job in the day of his great trial is able to support your sister in the duties and pressures of this day, and to keep her in safety under His watchful providence.

We are told also that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. There is great power and great mercy in intercessory prayer. Your love for your sister which moves you to pray for her is itself a work of grace, and we trust you will imitate Job and continue in childlike confidence even as you make your approach unto the Lord.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, who givest to all life and breath and all things, we thank Thee that Thou art our provider and our keeper. We bring before Thee this dear sister in her place of labor. We ask that Thou wouldst grant her favor this day, steady her hands, clear her mind, and let all that is committed to her be done well and faithfully. Preserve her place of employment we pray, and keep her job safe from harm or loss, as it shall please Thy wisdom. Provide for her needs according to Thy riches in Christ Jesus, and let her see Thy hand in her daily provision. Give to her and to those who love her a quiet trust that Thou orderest all things aright, and that our longest sorrows have their close when Thou hast accomplished Thy purpose. Keep them from unbelieving speeches and anxious fears, and help them to worship even while they wait upon Thee. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and salvation. Amen.

Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and rest in the assurance that He who maintained the glory of Job and at the last restored him will not be unmindful of His own children now.
