We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles you and your family are facing. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is our provider and that we should trust in Him in all circumstances. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Regarding your lawsuit, we pray that God's will be done and that you receive a fair settlement. However, we must remind you that the Bible warns against the love of money, for it is the root of all kinds of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
We encourage you to trust in God's provision and timing, and not to focus solely on the monetary aspects of the settlement.
Concerning your fear of losing your home, remember that God is your dwelling place. Psalm 90:1
Lord, you have been our dwelling place for all generations.
Even if you lose your earthly home, your eternal home is secure in Christ.
We pray that God grants you and your husband the knowledge and discernment guided by the Holy Spirit to support your family during this challenging time. We ask for God's strength for your faith, and that you may find peace and reassurance in His love and promises. James 1:5-6 WEB:
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
Lastly, we want to address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family who is facing significant financial struggles. We ask for Your provision and guidance in their lives, that they may trust in You and seek Your kingdom first. We pray for a fair settlement in the lawsuit and that Your will be done in all circumstances. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment to guide them in supporting their family, and that their faith may be strengthened in this challenging time. We pray for their three children, that You may watch over them and provide for their needs. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
