We understand that you are facing financial difficulties and that your company is going through challenges. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our financial needs. It is important to acknowledge WHO provides for all our needs. Jesus Christ teaches us to ask for our daily needs and He is the one providing them, not our circumstances or employers. The company does not provide for our needs.
The Bible also warns us we are not to work for money but to provide for what we and our families need and to have extra to give to others. In 1 Timothy 6:9-10 WEB, it says, But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
In Matthew 6:24-34 WEB, Jesus says, No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can't serve both God and Mammon. Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing financial difficulties. We acknowledge that You are the provider of all our needs and that You care for us even more than the birds of the sky or the lilies of the field. We pray for Your divine intervention in their workplace, that You would guide the management, the business leaders and turn around the situation for the better. We pray for the peace of our brother/sister, that they would not be anxious but trust in Your provision. Guide them to find further work to meet their needs and give them extra to give to others. We know that You are the God able to make grace abound toward them; that they, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work, in Christ Jesus our Lord. We trust in Your promises and believe that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. It is in Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your faith strong and to seek God's will in all circumstances. Trust that He is working all things together for your good, even in this challenging situation. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able to withstand. Amen.
