Financial provision

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of financial struggle, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father. The weight of looming eviction and financial uncertainty is heavy, but we know that our God is Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a promise of abundance for greed, but an assurance that God sees your needs and will sustain you according to His perfect will.

We also recognize the importance of wisdom and stewardship in this season. Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Have you sought His guidance in how to manage what He has already provided? Sometimes, financial struggles are an opportunity for God to redirect our steps, reveal His faithfulness, or even expose areas where we may have placed trust in money rather than in Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brothers and sisters who are facing financial hardship and the threat of eviction. Lord, You know their needs before they even ask, and we trust in Your provision. Open doors of opportunity, provide wisdom for budgeting and stewardship, and soften the hearts of those who may extend grace in this time. Remind them that their worth is not found in their bank account, but in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek practical help within your church community or local ministries. James 2:15-16 reminds us, *"If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and in lack of daily food, and one of you tells them, 'Go in peace. Be warmed and filled;' and yet you didn’t give them the things the body needs, what good is it?"* God often provides through the hands and feet of His people. Do not hesitate to ask for help—it is not a sign of weakness, but an opportunity for others to be blessed by serving as Christ served.

Lastly, we must guard our hearts against fear or despair. 1 Timothy 6:10 warns, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."* Money is a tool, not a savior. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who alone can meet every need of your soul. If you have not already, surrender your finances—and your very life—to Him. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you.
