Thank you first of all for your posting! It is very well-balanced and makes much sense.

Yes, there is a great inequity problem with the middle-class and the poor paying more for taxes and the top wealthy Americans not paying their fair share as an American billionaire recently brought out. President Obama is seeking to bring parity to this matter. It is inconceivable that those who can afford to pay more would not be paying more while those who are not independently wealthy are balancing the taxpayer load on their backs. Of course the Conservatives in Congress are aligned with wealthier Americans as a main constituency and realizing that their donations often bring in more than what the less privileged folks could contribute they apparently choose the former over the ladder.

We pray today for New Equality in Taxpaying Law.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that the inequity of those who are working menial jobs and paying higher taxes over their rich counterparts be corrected to allow the rich in America to pay their fair share because Father they can well afford to do so. Lord, you have always been a loving Father in support of those who are poor and need help. Today we have a big problem in these United States. We pray that you intercede in our prayers to allow the rich to be taxed equally in this country. Father, conservative members of Congress have often said that taxing the rich would minimize the efforts of the wealthy to create jobs. But we know as you know that is mere conservative rhetoric designed to obfuscate the real matter of their paying their fair share of taxes equally with all other Americans. So today we pray that your mighty hand will reach down and correct this problem and help the President of the United States in his quest to make all Americans accountable to pay their fair share, both rich and not rich. We leave this petition at your feet O Lord, knowing that you will bring justice to this situation, to this very out-of-balance situation that has gone on for so long a time. We Thank Thee and Praise Thee and Glorify Thy Most Holy Name. Amen and Amen. (Followed by The Lord's Prayer)
