We lift you and your mother up before the Lord, knowing that He is your Provider and the One who owns all things. It is written in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* You are not forgotten, and your Heavenly Father sees your need. He is faithful to provide, even in the most desperate times. Remember how He fed the Israelites in the wilderness with manna from heaven and how He multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed thousands. If He did that, will He not also provide for you?
Yet we must also ask: are you seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness? Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* Have you surrendered this situation entirely to Him, trusting that His ways are higher than yours? Or is there fear, worry, or a lack of faith creeping in? The Lord calls us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Repent of any doubt or fear, for the Lord is your strength and shield.
We also urge you to examine your hearts: are you tithing and giving as the Lord commands, even in lack? Malachi 3:10 says, *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* God honors faith, and obedience in giving is an act of trust in His provision. If you have not been faithful in this, we encourage you to start, even if it is a small amount, as an act of worship and trust in Him.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister and her mother, who are in urgent need of Your financial provision. Lord, You know their situation—every bill, every debt, every need—and You are not unaware. We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so abundant that there will not be room enough to contain it. Provide the funds needed for their rent, Lord, and let it come in a way that brings glory to Your name. Touch the heart of their landlord, Father, and fill them with grace, patience, and understanding. Soften their heart to extend mercy, just as You have shown mercy to us all.
Lord, we also pray that You would reveal any areas where they may need to repent—whether it be fear, unbelief, or disobedience in giving. Convict their hearts and lead them into full surrender to Your will. Open doors of opportunity for work, unexpected blessings, or divine connections that will meet this need. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that others may see and know that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides.
We rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as they wait on You.
We thank You in advance for the miracle You are about to perform. May they give all glory, honor, and praise to You, and may their faith be strengthened through this trial. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, sisters. Do not waver, for the Lord is with you. Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Wait expectantly, for your breakthrough is coming!
