Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing us to pray for you. We have lifted you and your family before the Lord and we continue to remember your needs before Him.
You asked for open doors of favour and blessing, and Scripture gives a beautiful picture of this. The Lord is the one who holds the key, what He opens no one can shut and what He shuts no one can open. He often leads His people by opening and closing doors, and that truth can take a great deal of pressure off of you. You do not need to force a door or break it down. You can trust Him to open the right doors in His time and to close doors that are not for your good, and to guide you as you keep His word and trust Him even with little strength. The greatest open door is Christ Himself. He knocks at the heart and waits for us to open to Him, and when anyone opens that door He comes in. My prayer is that your heart will stay fully open and surrendered to Him, wanting all that He has for you, because your Father loves you and is still at work in the lives of those who are open to Him, even in a crooked and difficult world.
We also hear your burden for finances. The Lord knows these pressures intimately. Jesus Himself knew what it was to be poor, born in humble circumstances, without even a coin of His own to use for an illustration. The early believers also knew financial hardship, and the church in Jerusalem suffered great need, yet even those who were poor gave generously to help others. God does not promise that faith will always bring immediate wealth, but He does promise to care for His children, to provide for their needs, and to give wisdom to be faithful stewards of what He entrusts to us. As you seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, you can trust Him to add what you need, to give you wisdom in work and stewardship, and to teach you contentment and generosity even in lean times.
We are also praying for your family. There is nothing more beautiful than when a household seeks the Lord together, and Scripture shows that God delights to draw entire families to Himself. He has made us one family through the blood of Jesus, redeemed from every background to belong to Him. He also calls us to care faithfully for our own households, and we pray that each member of your family will know His grace, His provision, and His saving power.
Let us pray together. Father, we bring this dear one and their family before You in the name of Jesus. You see their financial needs and the desires of their heart for favour and breakthrough. We ask that You would provide for them according to Your riches and wisdom, open the doors that You would have open and close those that would not be good, and give them peace to trust Your leading. Give them wisdom for every decision, work for their hands, and a heart that remains open to You. Draw each member of the family closer to Yourself, that they would know the redemption that is in Christ and walk together in Your blessing. Help them to keep Your word, to not deny Your name, and to find their greatest treasure in You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
