We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent financial need. Father God, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We stand in the gap for this situation, believing that You see the struggle and the weight of responsibility to care for a disabled household member. Lord, we ask for divine intervention, let the resources come through swiftly, let doors of assistance open wide, and let favor rest upon this appointment for rent and back rent.
We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in Jesus’ name. The enemy would love to use this financial strain to bring anxiety, despair, and even division, but we declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak provision over this situation, let the funds manifest this week, let eviction be averted, and let peace replace worry.
Father, we also ask that You reveal any areas where wisdom in stewardship is needed. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, "Honor the Lord with your substance, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." If there are adjustments to be made in spending, priorities, or seeking additional income, grant discernment and discipline. We pray for creative solutions, unexpected blessings, and a breakthrough that only You can provide.
We encourage you to hold fast to faith, even when the situation feels impossible. Remember the widow in 2 Kings 4 who was about to lose her sons to creditors, Elisha asked her what she had in her house, and when she brought him a small jar of oil, God multiplied it to pay her debts and sustain her family. Nothing is too small or insignificant for God to use. Keep your eyes on Him, not the circumstances.
Lord, we also lift up the disabled member of this household. You are the God who heals and sustains, and we ask for Your strength and comfort to surround them. May this trial draw this family closer to You, deepening their trust in Your faithfulness.

It also helps to write down two questions to ask directly: when you would hear back about the funds, and what other local help they recommend if the timing is tight. Many churches and community agencies sometimes have emergency rent assistance or can connect you with a financial counselor who can look at the bigger picture with you, so it is worth asking the caseworker who else in town to contact.
Please know you do not have to carry the caregiving and the financial pressure alone. If there is a trusted friend, family member, or pastor who can go with you or help follow up, consider inviting them in.

Beloved of All
Your request has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the weight that presses upon you in this hour. To face the want of rent and back rent, to stand under the shadow of eviction, and to bear this while caring for a disabled one within your household, is indeed to be brought very low. The Lord knows the burden of such cares, and He is not unmoved by them.
Perhaps you cannot pay your rent and you are to be turned out of that little room, this is falling low indeed. But what did your Savior say, Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but I, the Son of Man, have not where to lay His head. He who now reigns in glory once knew what it was to have no place to lay His head, that He might be touched with the feeling of your infirmities and be your compassionate High Priest in this trial. You are not forgotten by Him who numbers the hairs of your head.
We are reminded that when God turns in a way of grace to His people, He then seems to be flying on the wings of the wind, for He comes with all His soul most heartily and richly to display His favor and His love toward the objects of His choice. So we ask the Lord to display that favor toward you. A good captain, when he is marching an army through a country, takes care to make provision for every emergency. Before there was any defilement, there was an arrangement for cleansing, for in the eternal purpose the provision for atonement was made before sin actually existed. If the Lord has so graciously made provision for the soul's greatest debt, shall He not also, according to His wisdom and mercy, make provision for the needs of the body as He sees fit.
There is another rent of which Scripture speaks, and it is your truest hope. The veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom. This veil, when it was rent, was rent by God, not by man. It was the act of God alone, and it was rent from the top to the bottom so that there is an entrance made for the greatest sinners. The worst that any enemy could do would be to hang up a rent veil, for the separator is destroyed. While you seek earthly favor for earthly rent, remember that through the rent veil you have boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus. There you may come with confidence to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, for whosoever believeth in Him shall never perish, but shall have eternal life. This is the foundation that cannot fail, when all other confidences prove poor.
Let us pray for you.
O Lord our God, Thou who art our Provider and our Keeper, look in mercy upon this Thy servant who is pressed with financial want and the fear of being cast out of home. Thou knowest the appointment tomorrow and those who hold influence over rent and assistance. Grant favor in their sight, grant wisdom and clarity in all that is spoken, and if it be Thy gracious will, open the way for the money needed to come through this week to keep a roof over this household. Have compassion also upon the disabled one under this roof, and give to the caregiver daily strength, patience, and peace that passeth understanding. Forgive our sins, supply our needs according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and keep us from resting upon any unpromised favor, but upon Jesus Christ the righteous alone. Give a calm heart to trust Thy providence, whether Thou answerest by abundance or by sustaining grace, and let this trial plow the heart to receive Thy good seed. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Be diligent in that which is set before you tomorrow. Go with honesty and humility, take all needful papers, and be plain in your speech. Seek also the help and counsel of the faithful church around you, that you bear not this burden alone. Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. May the Lord, who suffered His heart to be plowed that you might be made ready for His mercy, keep you and yours under the shadow of His wing till this storm be past.

May those who have the means to decide be moved to act with justice and compassion, and may what is truly needed for your household to be kept in health and stability be provided.
Scripture teaches us that we are members of one another and that we owe love to one another as a debt, and that the whole body is held together by that love. You are not alone in this struggle. We also remember that God loves righteousness and calls all to act without perverting justice, whether for the poor or the rich. We ask that your case be heard fairly and that mercy and truth meet together in the decisions made for you.
