However, we must gently remind you that true joy is found first and foremost in Christ. **Psalm 37:4** says, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* When our delight is in Him, He aligns our desires with His perfect will. If there is loneliness or a void you are trying to fill through relationships, we encourage you to seek fulfillment in Him first. He is the only One who can satisfy the deepest longings of your soul.
We notice you mentioned finding "people who will help to bring joy in my life," and while we understand the heart behind this, we urge you to be cautious. Not every connection is from the Lord, and some relationships can lead us away from Him rather than toward Him. **Proverbs 13:20** warns, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* Seek relationships that honor God, and let Him be the one to bring the right people into your life.
