We join you in thanking our Lord Jesus Christ for His provision and for the opportunities He places before you, and we are encouraged by the heart of your prayer which seeks not only financial increase but also growth in character, purpose, and stewardship.

Your desire to be productive, excellent, and creative with the work of your hands is pleasing to God, and it aligns beautifully with the scripture you shared, Psalm 90:17, Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands. We pray that He will do just that for you. We also remember Proverbs 10:4, He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth, and Proverbs 21:5, The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. Your request for wisdom, discipline, and freedom from distraction shows a diligent spirit that honors Him.

We want to encourage you to keep this pursuit rooted in right priorities. Financial growth is a good gift when it flows from faithful stewardship and service to others, but scripture gently warns us to guard our hearts against making wealth itself the goal. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows, 1 Timothy 6:10. True prosperity is found when we seek Him first, as Jesus taught in Matthew 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23, knowing that He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much, Luke 16:10.

Your prayer for financial growth and faithful stewardship is heard with gladness, for it seeks not mere gain but grace to use what God entrusts to you for His glory and the good of others.

You have asked well, that the Lord would bless the work of your hands with productivity, excellence and creativity, and establish it according to that ancient prayer, Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us and establish thou the work of our hands upon us, yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. Psalm 90:17. This is the main point of stewardship, that nothing is our own, it is all our Master's. All that is placed in your hands, whether skill, opportunity, capital or influence, is to be labored with for the good of all your brothers and sisters in Christ and for the service of your fellow men.

Take heed then to be faithful in that stewardship. We can very much injure our stewardship by idling, or trifling, or growing careless, or leaving our hearts out of our work. But when you make your own business to be your Father's business, you will do your business well. It is sweet employment to serve your Father, and you need not turn aside from the way of daily labor to do it. Let diligence, integrity and love mark all your dealings, for craft, cunning and overreaching are no instruments for the hand of godly men. Grace itself has a discipline, and it teaches us to live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world, denying all that would distract and defile.

You have prayed for discipline and for deliverance from distractions, and this is a blessed prayer. Being soldiers under our glorious Captain the Lord Jesus Christ, we come under discipline, and it is well to count the cost and yield entirely to the Lord's training. He who yields himself up to the discipline of the Lord is blessed indeed. Pray that the Holy Spirit would strengthen you to keep rank, to attend to the work appointed, and to do it heartily as unto the Lord.

You have also prayed that your character and purpose might grow even as your finances grow, and this is very desirable. Faith does grow, and so must all graces grow with it. The only real mode of growth is by the power of the Holy Spirit, and growth is hindered when the heart grows divided or careless. Seek then first the growth of faith and holiness, and let prosperity be sustainable because it is rooted in usefulness, in creating true value and serving people rather than merely getting gain.

Let us pray together. O Lord Jesus Christ, Giver of every good opportunity, we thank Thee for Thy bounty. Bless the work of these hands. Grant wisdom for financial development, for business and investment, and for responsible stewardship. Remove distractions, strengthen discipline, and keep the heart fervent in labor.
