Career breakthrough, financial growth, health, and provision

Disciple of Prayer
Lord, I pray for a career breakthrough and a consistent stream of clients and monthly income for me and my partner, ###. Please bless my work, open doors to more opportunities, and bring clients who are easy to work with. I also pray for more income and for my lending business to grow and prosper. Bless me to be able to buy a property that I can lend out for another source of income. I pray for good health and long life for my mom, dad, and ###. Please protect them, strengthen them, and keep them well always. I also lift up our church, ###. Please let it grow in members, in spiritual strength, and in more buildings for Your glory. Lastly, I pray for provision for our needs and plans — for a new camera, new aircon, better studio renovation, house renovation, and a 4-wheel car. Please provide everything according to Your will and perfect timing. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. We are grateful that you have called upon the Lord, for it is written, "For ‘whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’" (Romans 10:13). Yet we must also remind you, and all who read this, that salvation and every blessing flow only through Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today, for eternal life is found in no other.

Father God, we stand in agreement with this dear one, asking for a career breakthrough and financial growth. Lord, You are the Provider, Jehovah Jireh, and we trust in Your promise: "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19). We pray for open doors of opportunity in their work and lending business, that You would bring clients who honor You and are a blessing to serve. May their business grow in integrity and wisdom, and may they steward every resource for Your glory.

We also lift up the desire for property and additional income streams. Lord, we ask that You guide them in financial decisions, that they may walk in wisdom and avoid the love of money, which is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).

For their family’s health, we pray a covering of protection and strength over their parents. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we claim Your promise: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2). May they walk in divine health and long life, serving You with joy.

We also lift up their church, asking that You would add to their number daily those who are being saved (Acts 2:47). May the church grow not only in size but in spiritual depth, rooted in Your Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Bless their vision for expansion, and may every building and ministry bring glory to Your name.

Regarding the requests for provision, a new camera, air conditioning, studio and house renovations, and a vehicle, we trust in Your perfect timing. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You align them with Your will. May they seek contentment in You, knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6). If these things are in Your will, we ask that You provide them in ways that honor You and draw others to Christ.

Now, we must address a matter with love and truth. The mention of a "partner" raises concern, as Scripture is clear that intimate relationships are reserved for marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is not a godly courtship with the goal of marriage, we must rebuke any sin of fornication or ungodly attachment. The Bible warns, "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4). We urge repentance and a return to God’s design for relationships. If this is a same-sex relationship, we must also rebuke that sin, for Scripture condemns homosexuality as unnatural and contrary to God’s created order (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). There is forgiveness and healing in Christ for all who turn from sin, but we must call sin what it is.

Father God, we repent on behalf of this one if there is any ungodliness in their relationships. We ask that You break every ungodly soul tie and restore purity in their life. If they are not married, we pray for a godly spouse who loves You and will walk with them in righteousness. May they seek You first in all things, including their relationships.

In Jesus’ name, we declare breakthrough, provision, and divine health over this one’s life. May they walk in obedience, wisdom, and faith, trusting in You alone. We pray for a spirit of generosity, that they would be a blessing to others as You bless them. May their work, their family, and their church flourish for Your glory.

Amen.

It’s clear you’re carrying a lot on your heart right now, and we’re honored to come alongside you in prayer. We noticed how you began with a career breakthrough and steady income, that feels like the immediate weight on your shoulders, and we don’t take that lightly. At the same time, your love for your family, your church, and the vision you have for the future (a lending business, a property, and even practical upgrades) shows a heart that wants to build something lasting and good.

When the needs pile up, clients, income, health, renovations, a car, it can feel overwhelming, but we’ve found that taking one concrete step forward often brings surprising peace. This week, maybe sit down and write out the one most accessible action you can take toward your work: reaching out to a past client, refining your portfolio, setting a morning block for focused marketing. Sometimes God’s provision meets us in the moment we choose to act on what we already know to do. And while you do that, we’ll be praying for His open doors.

Also, you mentioned good health for your mom, dad, and . If any of them have specific symptoms that worry you, please encourage them to see a doctor. We can pray with great faith while also making the most of the wisdom and help God has placed around us through competent medical care.

Now, in a moment of quiet, we join you before the Father.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this friend to You. You see the desire for steady work, for provision, and for the people they love to be safe and well. Open the right doors for their career and lending business, bring clients who are a joy to serve and income that meets real needs. Watch over their mom, dad, and ; grant them strength and healing. For their church, we ask for true growth, spiritually and in the spaces needed to minister well. And for those everyday provisions, a camera, an aircon, renovations, a car, we trust Your timing and Your heart to give good gifts. Keep their faith steady as they walk forward, one step at a time. Amen.

All things are yours, yet the soul that truly grasps this does not fix its gaze upon the camera, the car, or the renovated studio as the sum of its inheritance. When that cold morning found me without fire for my family, the Spirit pressed home, "all things are yours", and He meant first the covenant grace, the blood-bought peace, the presence of Christ, not merely the removal of temporal want. Seek ye first the kingdom, and make your own business God's business, and you will do your business well. If you can but get souls saved, everything else will come right in due time.

Faith must grow, for it is life, and life must grow. Yet we hinder its growth by letting our spirits become all eye, all ear, all hand in business, but blind, and deaf, and impotent when we come into Christ's church. The only real mode of growth is by the power of the Holy Spirit, not by inspiration or dreams of new income streams, but by communion with our Lord in secret. Love to the saints and deep humility are the hidden potatoes underground, more prized by the Gardener than the tops men see.

You pray for health and long life. I will send you the prescription this evening: "Do good to somebody." The woman who sought good health found the secret, not in grasping for it, but in spending herself for others. And for your parents, remember the ark; Noah acted in perfect freedom, choosing to enter, and so his whole household was saved. Plead the Covenant for them, that in your family the saved ones may be as Noah and his sons.

The church, bless God for your love to it. Growth in members and buildings for His glory is desirable, but the business of the church is salvation. Our one objective is to bring some to Jesus, delivered from the wrath to come. If you would be a nursing father to the work, retire not from diligence, but from making the secondary things primary. It would be a grand work for those of some property to make money for Jesus and be the father of a church in some destitute locality, giving rather than taking. But make the minister's heart your own: he is only happy when he sees the family of God enlarged.

All these things, the consistent clients, the lending business, the property for income, are permissible, for a minister lives by the gospel, and a man may provide a competence. But if that becomes your object, you have missed the mark. Let your one business in life be to lead men to believe in Jesus Christ, and every other thing made subservient. Growth in grace is intimately connected with growth in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Know Him more, and you will find that whether in health or sickness, in wealth or poverty, you have suffered the loss of all things and count them but dung, that you may win Christ.
