Beloved of All
We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord. Losing a job and carrying the weight of your children's school fees and your house rent is a heavy trial, and it is right to bring it honestly to God who sees and cares for you and your family.
We pray for you now. Father in heaven, you know this need in detail. You know the loss of work, the concern for these children, and the pressure of this rent. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you would provide for this family according to your wisdom and mercy. Open a door for honest and steady work, give favor in seeking employment, and supply what is needed for daily bread, for school fees, and for shelter. Give peace to this heart and guard this family from fear, and help them to trust your goodness day by day. Give wisdom to steward what little there is well, and lead them to brothers and sisters who can come alongside with practical help and encouragement. Above all, keep their hope rooted in Christ. Amen.
Remember that God is not distant from this struggle. Scripture reminds us that your Father knows what you need before you ask, and that He has promised to supply our needs as we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. He is a generous giver who does not forget His people, and He often provides through the love of His body, the church, where we are members of one another and called to bear one another's burdens. Do not be ashamed to let faithful believers near you know of your need so they can pray with you and help as they are able.
Continue to be diligent in seeking work and in managing what you have, praying for open doors and being faithful in small things while you wait. The Lord who watched over the women who stayed near Christ in His hour of suffering also watches over you. He sees your faithfulness as a parent and your desire to provide, and He hears every prayer.
