Financial breakthrough

We hear your heart in this difficult season and we join with you in bringing this burden before our heavenly Father. Losing a job and facing the pressure of providing for your children's school fees and your house rent can feel overwhelming, but we are reminded that God sees your need and He cares deeply for you and your family.
We want to gently share that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne with our needs. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior.
The Word assures us of God's provision for His children. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, What will we eat, What will we drink or, With what will we be clothed For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33. We also remember I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. Psalm 37:25.
We also encourage you with biblical wisdom regarding provision. God often provides through our diligence as we seek work and steward what He has given. He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth. Proverbs 10:4 and For even when we were with you, we commanded you this, If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10. This is not a rebuke of your situation, for we know you have lost your job and are not idle, but an encouragement to continue diligently seeking employment, using your gifts, seeking counsel from your church family, and being faithful with every small resource while you wait on the Lord's opening.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up our dear one to You. You know the weight of this financial burden, the concern for the children's school fees and the rent that is due. Lord we ask for Your mercy and provision. Open doors for honest and gainful employment, give favor in the eyes of employers, and provide a financial breakthrough according to Your will and Your riches in glory. Grant wisdom to steward finances well, peace to replace anxiety, and faith to trust You daily. Provide for these children, Lord, and let this family testify of Your goodness. Help our dear one to seek first Your Kingdom and to rest in Your care, knowing You know every need. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your prayer concerning your employment and the needs of your household has been heard and has been carried to the throne of grace.
To be without work and to feel the weight of your children's school fees and the rent for your home is a sore trial, and the Lord knows the burden you carry for your family. He is the Father who has adopted His people into His own family, and He does not forget those who belong to Him. As it has been said, even on a cold morning with no fire to warm the family, this word may still come, All things are yours, for if you are Christ's then all things are ordered by your Father's hand for your good.
We have prayed that the Lord in His wise providence will open a door of honest labour for you, that He will supply what is needful for your children and for your dwelling, and that He will give you peace as you wait upon Him. We have asked that He will keep you from despair and keep you diligent, seeking work faithfully, walking in integrity, and trusting not in uncertain riches but in the living God who gives us all things to enjoy.
Remember that family prayer is the nutriment of family piety, and in a time of need it is a great comfort and strength. Gather your household and seek the Lord together, cast your cares upon Him in private prayer and in prayer together, and search the Scriptures daily. He who made covenant with Noah to preserve him and his family is still faithful to hear those who call upon Him through Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other name.
