Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request for prayer concerning finances has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion and hope.
We pray that God, who knows your needs before you ask, will provide for you according to His wisdom and goodness, grant you sufficiency for your daily needs, open doors for honest work and opportunity, and give you wisdom to steward what He provides with faithfulness and contentment. May He guard your heart from anxiety and from the love of money, which brings many sorrows, and teach you to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add what is needful.
Scripture reminds us that our Father feeds the birds and clothes the lilies, and how much more He cares for His children. He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus, not always for excess or luxury, but for what sustains health and life and enables us to do good and to give thanks. So we ask not only for provision, but for a heart that is free from bondage to material things, content with what is necessary, diligent in labor, and generous toward others.
We pray for you now: Heavenly Father, look upon Your child who asks for help in a time of financial need. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, provide for this need as You see best, grant steady work and wisdom in all decisions, deliver from fear and debt and want, and help Your child to trust in Your faithful care day by day. Teach us all to use what we have for Your glory and for the good of others, and to find our true riches in Christ. Amen.
