Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your request and allowing us to pray for you and your family. God sees your financial need and He hears you when you call on Him in the name of Jesus.
The Scriptures show that God is able to provide in ways that go beyond our resources. When the prophets served Him, He multiplied a small amount of bread so that a hundred men ate and there was still food left over. He provided a simple room with a bed and table for His servant when he traveled. He even made a place within His law for a person with an incurable condition to be declared clean if God chose to heal him. In other words, God left room for Himself to work and we should never put Him in a box. He is still able to open doors and supply what you need according to His wisdom.
At the same time the greatest provision God has made is not financial. There is only one provision for the forgiveness of sins and for freedom from the power of sin, and that is through Jesus Christ His Son. The Spirit bears witness to that truth. The greatest miracle God does in any life is to deliver us from darkness, forgive our guilt through the blood of Jesus, and bring us into His kingdom of light. That is always first. If you have trusted in Jesus alone for salvation, you already have the greatest breakthrough. If you have not, that is where hope begins. Seek Him first and bring every other need to Him with confidence.
It is also important to keep a biblical view of provision. There have always been those who use spiritual position for personal financial gain, or who try to make religion a way to buy blessing and make things convenient. Others advertise miracles as if God works only on a set night or on demand. God is not limited that way and He is not to be treated as a means to an end. True faith does not try to schedule God or use Him.
Scripture gives us a healthier picture. Jesus Himself lived in poverty, born in a borrowed place and at one point having to borrow a coin to teach a lesson. The believers in Macedonia were in severe trial and poverty, yet they had abundant joy and were generous toward others in need. God does not promise that following Him removes all financial pressure, but He does promise to care for His children, to give wisdom for stewardship, and to supply what we need as we seek His kingdom first and walk faithfully day by day.
So we are praying for you for a real breakthrough, but we are praying in a biblical way. We ask God to provide for your family according to His riches in Christ, to give you wisdom in work and stewardship, to guard your heart from anxiety, and to fill you with His joy and peace even while you wait. May He meet your needs in the way that most shows His love and brings Him glory, and may you experience His nearness as your confidence remains in Him.
We will continue to pray that the Lord makes His provision clear in your life and that you see His faithful hand at work.
