We join with you and your family in bringing this financial need before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, and we thank you for seeking Him for provision.
We hear your cry for a breakthrough and we stand with you believing that God knows your needs even before you ask. Jesus taught us not to be anxious saying in Matthew 6:31-33 do not be anxious, saying, What will we eat, what will we drink or, With what will we be clothed For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And we cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We also remember that God calls us to steward what He provides with diligence, wisdom and contentment. We are reminded in Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. We are to work faithfully as unto the Lord, to live within our means, to be honest in all our dealings, and to honor Him with our increase as taught in Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase so your barns will be filled with plenty. We keep our hearts from the love of money, for 1 Timothy 6:10 says the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and we rest in Hebrews 13:5 Be content with what you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this family. You see their needs, their bills, their responsibilities and their desire to provide. We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your provision according to Your perfect will. Grant them wisdom to steward every resource well, diligence in their work, and opportunity for honest increase. Provide for their daily bread, deliver them from debt and anxiety, and help them to be generous even in little, trusting that 2 Corinthians 9:8 says God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work. Give them peace that surpasses understanding as they cast all their worries on You because You care for them as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. May this year be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not so that we may boast, but so that Your name may be glorified and their family may walk more closely with You. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to be faithful in prayer, in work, and in giving thanks for both small and large provisions. Keep seeking first His Kingdom, keep your hands diligent and your heart content, and trust that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will care for you and your family. We are praying with you for that breakthrough, that God would be glorified in how He provides.
