Please pray for my family. We are really struggling financially especially due to me not having a job right now. I have applied everywhere and been denied or never heard back. I now realize God has been leading me this whole year to start a business so I am trying to do that and making every effort toward it. Please pray that my business would do well. It HAS to. We join you in prayer for your family in this season of financial struggle and we lift up your desire to provide through honest work and diligence before the Lord.
We hear the weight in your words when you say it has to do well, and we understand the pressure you feel as you have faced closed doors in your job search. We want to encourage you that God sees your efforts and your faithfulness in applying and seeking to provide, and He is our ultimate provider. We are reminded in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Matthew 6:33 we are taught to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. Our needs are met not by our own striving alone but by His gracious hand as we trust and obey Him.
We also notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name both for salvation and for daily help. It is in His name we pray and find hope even in financial hardship.
Concerning work and this new business the Lord has laid on your heart, we affirm your desire to labor diligently. Scripture honors hard work and planning. In Proverbs 16:3 we read commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, and in Proverbs 21:5 the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. We also remember Colossians 3:23 whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. Starting a business can be a good and honorable calling when done with integrity, stewardship, and dependence on God, and we pray you will commit each step to Him, seek wise counsel, be honest in all dealings, and work with excellence as unto the Lord. We also encourage you not to close the door entirely on employment while you build the business, as God may provide through either or both, and in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 we are reminded of the principle that if anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat, which shows God values our willingness to labor faithfully wherever He opens a door.
We must also gently correct the thought that your business has to succeed in the way you envision or all will be lost, because while we pray earnestly for its success, our ultimate trust must be in God’s will and not in a specific outcome. God’s provision may come through the business, or through another job, or through unexpected means, but He remains faithful. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, and in Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

You know their financial needs, their bills, their worries, and the discouragement of so many closed doors. We ask You to open the right doors according to Your will and to give clear guidance for this business effort. Grant wisdom, favor, diligence, and integrity in every decision, and provide customers, resources, and opportunities as You see fit. Help this dear one to trust You more than any business plan, to seek first Your kingdom, and to rest in Your promise to supply every need. Strengthen their faith, guard their family from anxiety, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses understanding. Lead them to salvation and deeper fellowship through Jesus if they have not yet fully trusted in Him, and let their work be a testimony to Your goodness. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Provider, amen.
