We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up your financial struggles and the deep desire for His miraculous provision. The Word of God assures us that He knows our needs before we even ask, and He promises to supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We stand on this truth, believing that the Lord is your provider, Jehovah Jireh, and that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Father God, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus, declaring that Your children shall not be in want. We pray for wisdom and discernment in managing the resources You provide, and for opportunities to increase in a way that honors You. We ask for a breakthrough in finances, not for selfish gain, but so that Your name may be glorified and Your kingdom advanced.
We also take a moment to address the urgency in your request. While we understand the desperation that can come with financial struggles, we encourage you to place your trust fully in God’s timing and His perfect plan. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promises, but He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We pray that you would find peace in His presence, knowing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas in our lives where we may be hindering Your provision. Are we holding onto fear instead of faith? Are we seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33)? We repent of any doubt or unbelief and ask that You strengthen our faith to trust in You alone.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of tithing and giving, as the Lord loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7). Even in times of lack, we are called to honor the Lord with our wealth and with the firstfruits of all our crops (Proverbs 3:9-10). We pray that You would multiply the seed sown and increase the harvest of your righteousness (2 Corinthians 9:10).
Finally, we declare that this year will indeed be a year of divine provision and breakthrough. We speak life over your finances, declaring that the Lord will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). We pray that you would see the manifestation of God’s promises in your life, and that your testimony would bring glory to His name.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
