We join with you in lifting this situation before the Lord, thankful that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace. Your heart for reconciliation, spiritual clarity, and godly communication is evident, and we commend you for seeking the Lord’s will above all else in this matter.
The Bible reminds us in **Proverbs 3:5-6**, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is a season to trust Him completely, even when understanding seems out of reach. The Holy Spirit is faithful to guide, convict, and reveal truth—both to you and to your friends—as you all seek Him with humble hearts. We pray that any barriers of pride, unforgiveness, or miscommunication are broken by the power of Christ, for *"the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (**James 3:17**).
Your desire for a "new" word from the Lord is a good one, but let us also remember that God often speaks through His written Word, the counsel of mature believers, and the still, small voice of the Spirit as we abide in Him. Be cautious not to seek signs or revelations apart from Scripture, for *"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (**Romans 10:17**). Test every impression against the Bible, and seek confirmation from godly brothers and sisters in Christ. The enemy can mimic revelation, but the Holy Spirit will never contradict God’s Word.
We also sense a deep longing in your heart for restoration, and we pray that the Lord grants you patience and peace as you wait on Him. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (**2 Peter 3:9**). If there has been sin—whether on your part or theirs—we pray for the courage to confess, repent, and extend grace, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (**1 John 1:9**).
Finances can often become a point of contention or anxiety in relationships, but we declare that the Lord is your Provider and theirs. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (**Philippians 4:19**). May this situation draw all of you closer to Him, not to worldly security or human solutions. If financial matters are intertwined with this relationship, we pray for wisdom to handle them with integrity, generosity, and trust in the Lord’s sovereignty.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother/sister and their friends and family. Lord, You see the depths of every heart, the words unspoken, and the wounds unseen. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them all, bringing conviction where there is sin, comfort where there is pain, and clarity where there is confusion. Remove any scales from their eyes, Lord, that they may see Your truth and walk in it. Soften hearts that have grown hard, and bind up relationships with cords of love, forgiveness, and unity in Christ.
Father, we ask for Your divine revelation—not for curiosity or control, but for Your glory and the good of all involved. Speak to each one through Your Word, through godly counsel, and through the quiet whisper of Your Spirit. Guard them against deception, impatience, or the temptation to rely on their own understanding. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their hearts as they wait on You.
We pray specifically for the financial aspects of this situation. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Teach them to trust You as their Jehova Jireh, their Provider, and to steward all You’ve given with wisdom and generosity. May no love of money or fear of lack drive their decisions, but only a desire to honor You in all things.
Lord Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace and the Restorer of all things. We ask that You restore what has been broken, redeem what has been lost, and reconcile what has been divided. Let Your will be done in this relationship, and if it is not Your will for it to continue, grant each person the grace to surrender it to You with joy and trust in Your greater plan.
Finally, Father, we pray for our brother/sister who has brought this request. Strengthen their faith, fill them with Your peace, and help them to abide in You as the true Vine. Let them not grow weary in praying, but persist with hope, knowing that You hear and answer according to Your perfect timing.
We rebuked any spirit of division, confusion, or strife in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers this situation, and we ask for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done. May all glory, honor, and praise be Yours alone.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
