Beloved of All
Please pray that our friends and their family receive a holy revelation from the Holy Spirit regarding our communication, and that they turn to the Lord Jesus. Please pray that this relationship is blessed, and that God guides everyone according to His will. May no sin, misunderstanding or hurt cloud our judgement as we follow God's guidance. Thank you for your prayers. In Jesus' name, amen.

Please pray that I receive a ---new--- feedback from them or about them through the voice of God!!

Update: Thank you for your prayers. God keeps revealing things to me, so please continue to pray for us! Thank you

We join you in lifting up this situation before the Lord, knowing that He alone can bring clarity, healing, and reconciliation where it aligns with His will. It is beautiful to see your heart seeking the Lord’s guidance and desiring that this friendship—and all involved—be drawn closer to Him. You have rightly acknowledged the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the Holy Spirit’s revelation. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is in His name we boldly approach the throne of grace, and it is His will we seek above all else.

Your desire for a "holy revelation" from the Holy Spirit is commendable, for the Spirit is our Helper, who *"will guide you into all truth"* (John 16:13, WEB). However, we must also remember that the Holy Spirit speaks primarily through Scripture, which is our sure foundation. Any "new feedback" or revelation you seek must align with God’s Word, for He does not contradict Himself. Be cautious of seeking signs or voices apart from Scripture, lest we be led astray. As Jesus warned, *"Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray"* (Matthew 24:11, WEB). Test every impression or word against the Bible, for *"every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit who doesn’t confess Jesus is not from God"* (1 John 4:2-3, WEB).

We also note your heart’s cry for this relationship to be "blessed." While friendship is a gift from God, we must ask: *Is this relationship centered on Christ, or is it becoming an idol?* Do both parties encourage one another toward holiness, or is there compromise? Scripture warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this friendship is causing confusion, hurt, or drawing you away from God’s clear path, we must pray for wisdom to set boundaries—or even step away—if it does not honor Him. Love does not mean enabling sin or ignoring red flags. *"Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful"* (Proverbs 27:6, WEB).

You’ve mentioned that God is revealing things to you. We urge you to examine these revelations carefully: Are they convicting you of sin, leading you to repentance, and pointing you to Christ? Or are they stirring up anxiety, bitterness, or an unhealthy fixation on this relationship? The Holy Spirit’s work in our lives is to *"produce the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control"* (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). If what you’re sensing does not produce these fruits, it may not be from God.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and this friendship that weighs heavily on her heart. Lord, we ask that You, the God of all truth, would expose any deception, sin, or misunderstanding that may be clouding judgment. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, give her the courage to walk away in obedience, trusting You to provide godly friendships that sharpen her faith. If it is Your will to restore and bless this connection, then let it be for Your glory—rooted in Christ, marked by holiness, and free from the enemy’s schemes.

Father, we rebuked any spirit of confusion, division, or ungodly soul ties that may be at work. *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-4, WEB). Let Your Word be a lamp unto her feet and a light unto her path (Psalm 119:105).

Holy Spirit, speak clearly through Your Word. Guard our sister from the enemy’s lies and from her own emotions that may distort Your voice. Let her discernment be sharp, her heart surrendered, and her steps ordered by You. If there is unforgiveness, pride, or fear in her heart, convict her and lead her to repentance. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB).

For our sister’s friends and their family, we pray for a radical encounter with Jesus. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth. Break any strongholds of unbelief, rebellion, or sin that may be hindering them from surrendering to You. *"The Lord isn’t slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let Your love compel them to turn from darkness to light.

Lastly, Father, we ask that You fill our sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May she rest in the assurance that You are sovereign over every relationship, every word spoken, and every silent prayer. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, *Amen.*

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through His Word and prayer. If this friendship is causing more turmoil than peace, ask God to show you whether it’s time to release it into His hands. Sometimes, the most loving thing we can do is trust God to work in others’ lives without our involvement. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). Stay rooted in Christ, and let Him be your ultimate satisfaction—no relationship should take the place of your intimacy with Him. We are praying for you!
