Finances

We join with you in lifting up your financial needs before the Lord, knowing that He is our Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This promise is not just a comforting thought but a divine assurance for those who trust in Him. Yet we also know that our needs are met not always in the way we expect, but in ways that draw us closer to Him and align with His perfect will.

We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your heart’s posture in this season is crucial—are you seeking His Kingdom above all else, trusting that He will add what you need? Or is anxiety beginning to take root? If worry has crept in, we gently remind you of 1 Peter 5:7, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* He is not indifferent to your struggles; He invites you to release them into His capable hands.

At the same time, we encourage you to examine your stewardship of what He has already entrusted to you. Are you tithing faithfully, as commanded in Malachi 3:10? *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* Tithing is not just an obligation but an act of faith that unlocks God’s provision. If you have not been obedient in this area, we urge you to repent and align your finances with His Word. Proverbs 3:9-10 also tells us, *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."*

We also ask: Are there areas of waste or poor management in your finances? Luke 14:28 reminds us, *"For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?"* Wisdom and planning are biblical principles. If debt is a burden, we encourage you to seek godly counsel on how to manage it biblically, remembering Proverbs 22:7, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Freedom in this area may require sacrifice, but God honors obedience and diligence.

Lastly, we must ask: Are you praying with your family about this need? Matthew 18:19-20 says, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* There is power in united prayer. Gather your household, lay your needs before the Lord together, and trust Him to move mightily on your behalf.

Now, let us pray together for you and your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of this Your child, who is seeking Your provision for their family. Lord, You know their needs before they even ask, and You have promised to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so abundant that there will not be room enough to contain it. Father, we pray for wisdom in stewardship—help them to manage what You have given with integrity, generosity, and faith. If there has been any disobedience in tithing or financial management, we ask for conviction and repentance, that they may walk in full alignment with Your Word.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take root in their heart. Replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding. Guide them to opportunities for increase, whether through work, wise investments, or unexpected blessings. Provide for every debt, every bill, and every necessity, and let them testify of Your faithfulness. We also pray for unity in their family, that they would come together in prayer and trust, leaning on You rather than their own understanding.

Father, if there are areas of sin or disobedience that are hindering Your blessing, reveal them by Your Spirit. Bring conviction where needed, and grant the strength to turn away from anything that does not honor You. Let this season be one of drawing closer to You, where their faith is strengthened, and their testimony becomes a beacon of Your goodness.

We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Provider and Redeemer. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. Amen.
