We understand your heart’s desire for financial increase and the ability to purchase land, and we come before the Lord with you in this request. The Bible reminds us in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we must also remember that our trust is not in wealth itself, but in the Lord, who provides all things according to His will and wisdom. **Proverbs 3:5-6** instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Before we pray, we must address something important: your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* **Acts 4:12** further affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and confess Him as Lord—this is the foundation of all blessings, including financial provision.
Now, let us also consider your heart in this request. While it is not wrong to desire financial stability or to own land, we must examine our motives. **1 Timothy 6:10** warns, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."* Are you seeking this increase to honor God, to provide for your family, and to be a blessing to others? Or is there a risk of placing your trust in wealth rather than in the Lord? **Matthew 6:33** directs us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
If your income is small, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in stewardship, diligence, and contentment. **Proverbs 10:4** says, *"He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth."* **Hebrews 13:5** also reminds us, *"Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"*
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one before Your throne of grace, asking for Your wisdom, provision, and guidance in their life. Lord, You know their heart’s desire for financial increase and the ability to purchase land. We ask that You align their desires with Your will and grant them the means according to Your riches in glory. Father, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we pray for conviction and repentance. Help them to trust in You alone, not in wealth or human effort.
Lord, we pray for opportunities to increase their income in a way that honors You. Open doors that no man can shut, and give them favor in their work. Teach them to be diligent, wise, and content, knowing that You are their Provider. If it is Your will for them to acquire land, make the way clear and provide the resources needed. Protect them from the love of money and the temptations that come with it. May their heart be fixed on You, seeking first Your Kingdom and righteousness.
We also pray that if this dear one has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation for them. May they turn from sin, believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and walk in obedience to Your Word. Father, we ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, studying His Word, and walking in obedience. Trust that He hears you and will provide according to His perfect will. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today—He is the source of all true blessing. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.
