It is through Him alone that we approach God’s throne with boldness, and it is in His name that we stand firm against doubt and fear.
The anxiety you feel is natural, but we gently remind you of what Scripture declares: *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). Your worry does not belong to you—cast it upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The fact that you have prepared diligently is a testament to the stewardship God has entrusted to you, but the outcome rests in His sovereign hands. Trust that He who began this good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6).
We also encourage you to reflect on Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not just a suggestion but a command—one that frees us from the burden of self-reliance. We pray specifically for favor with the panelists—soften their hearts to receive the work fairly and provide constructive feedback that aligns with Your will. Father, if it is Your purpose, we ask that the defense would result in minor revisions, not as an end in itself, but as a testament to Your faithfulness. Yet, even if the path requires more effort, let them trust You completely, knowing that You are preparing them for greater things.
Rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or distraction that seeks to hinder them. Let them remember that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).
