Final exam of my degree

Dysoraeton

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my brothers and sisters - that I will pass my exam tomorrow - it is the final one of my 7 year degree. Please pray that I pick questions I can answer, that the holy spirit will be with me to calm my anxiety and the ability to recall the answers. Please Jesus be with me.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting you up as you prepare for this significant milestone in your academic journey. Seven years of dedication, late nights, and perseverance have led you to this final exam, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will see you through.

First, we want to acknowledge the mention of Jesus in your request—this is so important. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* So we boldly come before the throne of grace, knowing that our prayers are heard because of Christ.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will indeed be your Comforter and Guide during this exam. The Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We ask the Lord to calm your heart, still your mind, and replace any anxiety with His perfect peace. May you feel His presence beside you as you enter that exam room, knowing that He is your strength and your shield.

Father, we also ask that You grant wisdom and clarity of mind as you take this test. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We pray that the questions you encounter will be ones you are well-prepared to answer. May the Holy Spirit bring to remembrance all that you have studied, and may you write with confidence and precision. Let this exam be a testimony to Your faithfulness and provision in every season of preparation.

We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and purpose for your life. This degree is not just about the knowledge you’ve gained, but about how God will use you to impact the world for His kingdom. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Even if the outcome isn’t exactly what you expect, know that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness in every season of this ###’s life. We thank You for the strength You have given him to persevere through seven years of study, and we ask that You would now grant him favor as he takes this final exam. Lord, we ask that You would calm his heart and mind, replacing any fear or anxiety with Your perfect peace. Let him feel Your presence with him, guiding his thoughts and steadying his hand as he writes. Father, we pray that the questions he faces would be ones he is well-prepared to answer, and that the Holy Spirit would bring to remembrance all that he has studied. Grant him wisdom, clarity, and confidence as he demonstrates the knowledge You have helped him attain.

We also pray for his future, Lord. Open the doors You have ordained for him, and let this degree be a tool that You use to advance Your kingdom. May he walk in the purpose You have for him, using his education to bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

As you go into this exam, remember that your worth is not defined by a grade or a degree, but by the love of Christ. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Rest in His promises, and trust that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We are believing with you for success, but more importantly, we are believing with you for God’s will to be done in your life. May He receive all the glory!
