We understand your need, ###, for a job to pay your debts and provide for your child's education. Let's bring your situation before the Lord together.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work and financial needs. As it is written in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Also, in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), Jesus encourages us not to be anxious about what we will eat or drink, or about what we will wear. For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
However, we also believe that God wants us to be proactive in our search for work. As Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) advises, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." So, while you pray and trust God, also ensure you are actively seeking employment and being diligent in your efforts.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, You know their need for a job to sustain their family and pay off debts. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for them. Guide their steps as they search for employment, and give them favor in the sight of potential employers.
We also pray for their child's education. Lord, You care for the little ones, and we ask that You provide for their school fees. Help ### to be a good steward of their finances, so they can responsibly pay off their debts.
In all things, Lord, help ### to keep their trust in You, seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness.
We ask this in Jesus' precious name, Amen.
Lastly, ###, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'” If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
