Fellowship, Connection 🌉 Blessing, Protection and 💞 Love, 1 Jn 1:2-3...

Nochaeld

Beloved of All
Dear Father, You know what it's like to have fellowship with Your Son, Matt 11:27, and Jesus, You with with the Father, John 10:15. I would like to have a scheduled time to video with my son. Please soften the heart of the mother so she does not consume my evenings waiting for her calls in her mornings, only to call and say the boy is sleeping. If it would be better to talk during her evenings and my mornings, please help her suggest it, and help me adjust my schedule. Turn our hearts toward one another, especially the boy and I, Mal 4:5-6 and help the three of us have a relationship of peace, 1 Cor 7:15. Deliver her from deception, Matt 24:4, sin, 1 Cor 8:1, evil influences, Zeph 3:13, evil people 2 Thes 3:3, and the evil one, Matt 6:13.

Please LORD, a king's heart is as channels of water in Your hands -- You turn it whatsoever way You will, Prov 21:1. Kindly do the same for her, turn her from the dangers of unforgiveness, Matt 18:34-35, the deceitfulness of sin, Heb 3:13, hardness of heart, Rom 2:5, and bitterness, rage and anger expressed in passive aggressiveness and silence, especially during the phone calls where I ask my son, "what are did you do today that was fun?" "Or what's your favorite thing to do?"

Keep her from the evil one, Jn 17:15, and I ask the same for myself, I repent of anger and impatience brought about by not being a fruit inspector, for marrying hastily to avoid sin, and for the amount of emotional and spiritual upheaval it has caused in my life by marrying an unbeliever. I forgive myself , Luke 1:77, 1 Jn 1:9, and am now praying for protection from evil people and imposters, Prov 30:8, 2 Cor 11:26, Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, etc. Grant me and all of us the faith and patience that I might inherit the promises, Heb 6:12, the promises that are Yes and Amen in Jesus, 2 Cor 1:20, as we ask in Jesus' Name, thank You, Mark 11:24.

We join you in this burden for fellowship and connection and we hear your heart for your son and for peace among the three of you. We thank God that you desire the fellowship that is described in 1 John 1:2-3 where our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, and that you know the intimate knowing between the Father and the Son spoken of in Matt 11:27 and John 10:15. That is the pattern for the love you long to have with your son, and God sees your waiting and your longing.

We praise God with you for your repentance and honesty. You have named anger and impatience, and you have acknowledged marrying hastily and being unequally yoked with an unbeliever. Scripture warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers in 2 Cor 6:14, and that we will know them by their fruits in Matt 7:16. To marry to avoid sexual sin is honorable according to 1 Cor 7:9, but to do so without being a careful fruit inspector and without seeking a believing spouse brings the very emotional and spiritual upheaval you have experienced. God is merciful and forgiving when we confess. 1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We receive forgiveness from Him through the blood of Jesus, and Luke 1:77 reminds us that salvation comes by the forgiveness of sins. It is His forgiveness that restores us, not our forgiving of ourselves, and we rejoice that you are now walking in that received forgiveness and seeking protection and wisdom going forward.

We also hear your weariness in waiting through your evenings for a call in her mornings only to be told the boy is sleeping, and the silence and passive responses when you try to ask your son what was fun today or what he loves to do. God calls us to put away bitterness, wrath, anger and malice and to be kind and tenderhearted forgiving each other in Eph 4:31-32. We pray with you that all bitterness, rage and anger and hardness of heart in Rom 2:5 and the deceitfulness of sin in Heb 3:13 would be broken. We pray that the unforgiveness that Jesus warns of in Matt 18:34-35 would not take root in any of you, and that deception spoken of in Matt 24:4 would be exposed and removed.

We lift up the mother of your son together with you. We ask the Lord to keep her from the evil one as Jesus prayed in John 17:15 and to deliver her from evil in Matt 6:13 and from evil people as in 2 Thess 3:3. We pray He would deliver her from evil influences and from lying lips as in Zeph 3:13 and Prov 30:8, and from impostors and those who have a form of godliness but deny its power as in 2 Tim 3:5 and 2 Tim 3:13 and Tit 1:16. We pray Prov 21:1 over her, that as the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand as the watercourses, He directs it wherever He desires, so He would turn her heart toward peace and toward a workable, consistent time for you and your son to fellowship by video. If it is better for her evenings and your mornings, we pray the Lord would prompt her to suggest it and give you grace to adjust your schedule, and if the current window can be honored, we pray He would move her to protect that time faithfully so your evenings are not consumed with waiting.

We pray for your son, that the promise of Mal 4:5-6 would be at work, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. We pray for a relationship of peace as in 1 Cor 7:15, that even where there is separation from an unbelieving spouse, God would grant peace and stability for the child. We pray you would be strengthened to be the patient, gentle father described in Eph 6:4, not provoking your child to anger but nurturing him in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, even from a distance, with words that build up and show consistent, Christlike love. We pray you would continue to bear the fruit of the Spirit in Gal 5:22-23, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control, and be quick to listen and slow to anger as in James 1:19.

We pray for you as well for protection from evil people and the evil one, and for faith and patience to inherit the promises as in Heb 6:12, remembering that all the promises of God are Yes and Amen in Christ in 2 Cor 1:20.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to You and there is no other name by which we are saved according to John 14:6 and Acts 4:12. We thank You for this father who loves his son and desires fellowship after the pattern of Your own fellowship. We ask You to soften hearts and turn them toward one another. Grant a clear, scheduled time for video fellowship that is honored and protected, and give wisdom about the best hours across the time difference. Remove waiting and disappointment and replace it with reliable communion. Take away hardness, bitterness, unforgiveness and passive silence, and fill each heart with kindness, truth and peace. Keep this little boy in the hollow of Your hand, keep his mother from deception and from every evil influence and person, and keep this brother from the evil one and from discouragement. Help him to walk as a faithful father, patient and steadfast in prayer, trusting that whatever we ask in prayer believing we will receive as in Mark 11:24. Let Your will be done and let Your peace guard these relationships. We ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue in steady, gracious communication, to keep your questions to your son simple and warm without pressure, to document your requests for time in a kind and consistent way, and to trust the Lord to direct hearts in His timing. The Lord is near to you in this waiting and He will not forsake the work of a father who seeks Him.

We hear how heavy this has been, waiting through your evenings hoping to see your son, and then the disappointment when the call does not come or he is already asleep. Wanting a steady, predictable time to connect is a good and loving desire, and we join you in asking God for peace for all three of you.

Long after a marriage ends the ache can still feel fresh. Healing often takes a long time, like grieving a loss, and it is understandable you are carrying both longing for your boy and sorrow over choices you regret. You mentioned forgiving yourself and wanting to release bitterness, and that kind of forgiveness is rarely a one time decision. Choosing to let go of revenge or avoidance is one part, and the quiet softening of resentment and fear over time is another. Both can grow slowly as you keep turning to the Lord.

One step that sometimes helps when schedules and time zones make contact hard is to put a brief, kind proposal in writing. You could suggest one or two consistent windows that work for mornings on your side and evenings on hers, keep the note short and centered on your son, and keep a simple record of what is offered and what happens. If communication stays strained, a trusted pastor or a neutral mediator can often help carry those conversations with less friction.

We are praying for you and for your son.

Father, we bring this father and his son before You, and the boy's mother as well. Give wisdom for the next conversation, steadiness when disappointment comes, and protection over this child's heart. Lead this dad in patience and discernment, and draw each of them toward Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and there is much in it which the Lord weighs with perfect knowledge, for He knows what it is to have fellowship between the Father and the Son, and He invites sinners into that same communion. You desire rightly to have fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, and as you increase in the knowledge of the Father and of His Son through the revelation of the Divine Spirit, you shall increase your fellowship with Him. This is the first and chief mercy, to be reconciled to God by the death of His Son and healed of the plague of sin, for without this there can be no true peace in any other relation.

You ask for peace in your household and for a settled time of communion with your son, and for the heart of his mother to be softened. The Word says the king's heart is in the hand of the Lord as channels of water, He turns it whithersoever He will, and we may with confidence ask Him to turn hearts toward what is good and just and merciful. We will pray that the Lord in His wisdom would grant you a faithful and orderly provision for seeing and speaking with your son, whether in your evenings or your mornings, and that He would give you both a spirit of reasonableness and kindness in ordering these things, and turn the hearts of parents toward their children as He has promised.

You also ask for protection and deliverance from deception and from the evil one, and this is a needful prayer for every soul. Our Lord taught us to pray, deliver us from evil, and He prayed for His own, that the Father would keep them from the evil one. There is a peace which the world cannot give and which Satan counterfeits when he makes conscience lie still, crying peace, peace, where there is no peace. What have we to do with peace while our offenses are many and our hearts go forth after idols. The peace which is a blessing is that which God Himself gives, the peace which Jesus bought with His blood when He said, My peace I give unto you. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, even under thronging duties and with loved ones far away, is rest, for in Jesus keeping we are safe, and they are safe.

You have spoken honestly concerning sin, concerning anger and impatience, and concerning marrying hastily and being unequally yoked with an unbeliever. Scripture warns that there is no peace to the wicked while sin is loved and retained, and it calls us to part with sin if we would find peace with God. Yet herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Once in the history of the world has the Son of God appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself, and when the Father sees His Son bearing our sin upon the cross, He remembers our iniquities no more. If you confess your sin, He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Forgiveness is not a word we speak over ourselves, but a mercy we receive from the Father through the Son, and that mercy makes us heirs with Christ. Receive it, rest in it, and then walk in newness of life, putting away bitterness and wrath and anger, and learning that patience and self control which are the fruit of the Spirit.

Do not seek first a mere quieting of circumstances, but seek first to be at peace with God through faith in Christ, for the work of salvation was done forever and on God's part there is nothing now to be removed in order that all who trust His Son may be at perfect peace with Him. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Stay your mind upon the Father who spared not His own Son but freely delivered Him up for us all, and who is a better Father to His children than the best of fathers could ever be to the best beloved of sons. He knows your evenings of waiting, your longings for your son, your questions asked in love that are met with silence. Cast that care upon Him, and bear your sorrow with Him, and you shall enjoy perfect peace even with sorrows surging round.

Therefore we will pray with you and for you, for your son, and for his mother, that God who is the God of peace and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation would work reconciliation where it is according to His will, and at least give that peace which the gospel allows when one party does not yet believe. We will ask that the Lord would deliver each of you from hardness of heart, from the deceitfulness of sin, from bitterness and rage, and from every evil influence and the snares of the evil one, and that He would grant repentance and faith where faith is lacking, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. We will ask that He would keep you from evil people and from impostors, and give you discernment to inspect fruit and to walk wisely and soberly in all relations, not hastily but in the fear of God.

Wait upon the Lord with faith and patience, for it is through faith and patience that we inherit the promises, and the promises are Yes and Amen in Jesus. Believe that God has given you all things in giving you His Son, and that this world and worlds to come are held in His hand. May the Father deal with you according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and grant you that spiritual peace which is God's own child, calm and profound as the heart of the Eternal Son, that you may be a co-worker with God in doing good, agreeing in your heart of hearts with His gracious purposes.

We commend you and your son and his mother to that Father who hears the lisping of His children when they cry Father, and to the Son who is our peace and our Mediator, praying that you may be kept, guided, and made to abound in love and holiness until the day of Christ, in whose name we ask all these things. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has come before the church and we have heard the weight and longing in it for fellowship with your son and for peace in a divided household. God knows what true fellowship is, for the Father knows the Son and the Son reveals the Father, and He has made a way for us who were once far off to become sons through grace. That same grace now gives peace, and peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. Where peace is present, love can grow, and where it is absent, everything is unsettled.

We thank God that you have brought your own heart into the light. You have rightly named the haste and the decision to marry an unbeliever to avoid sin, and the upheaval that has followed. There is forgiveness with God through Jesus Christ alone, for His promises are Yes and Amen in Him, and when we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive. As you have repented of anger and impatience, continue to walk in that repentance with humility and patience, not trusting in your own sorrow to avenge you, but calling upon the Lord who hears the lament of His children. He alone can turn a heart as channels of water are turned, and He alone can guard both you and the mother of your child from deception, hardness of heart, bitterness, and the snares of the evil one.

We join you in praying that God would soften hearts and turn the hearts of father and child toward one another as He promised, and that He would grant you all a relationship marked by peace. If it is consistent with His wisdom, we ask that He would provide a clear and settled time for you to see and speak with your son by video, so that evenings are not consumed with waiting and disappointment. We ask that He would give the mother a willingness to speak plainly and to seek what is best for the boy, and give you grace to adjust your schedule with gentleness and self control when such a way is opened. We ask that He would keep your son under the care of His holy angels, for each of these little ones is not forgotten before the Father, and that He would keep you all from evil influences, evil people, and the deceitfulness of sin.

In your conversations with your son, continue in patient love. A simple question such as what was fun today is a seed of love, even when the answer is silence. Do not let silence become a cause for rage or passive anger, but persevere in kindness. The Lord works not only through miracles but through teaching and faithful love over time. The inheritance of the promises comes through faith and patience, so remain steady, pray without ceasing, and strive for peace, for the peacemakers are called sons of God because the Son of God came to reconcile what was divided.

We pray for you now. Father, grant to this brother grace and peace from You and from the Lord Jesus Christ, and keep that grace and peace firm and unmoved in his heart. Forgive his sins through the blood of Christ, establish him in faith, guard him and the mother and the child from the evil one, deliver them from unforgiveness and hardness of heart, and turn their hearts toward You and toward one another in Your time and mercy. Give wisdom for scheduling, words seasoned with love, and endurance to wait upon You. We ask this in the name of Jesus, trusting that what we ask according to Your will You hear.
