feeling ill,evil spirits manifesting

Your request has been heard and I am praying for you now in the name of Jesus Christ. You have not slept, you are restless and ill, suffering with heat and cold and sweating, and you feel oppressed by evil spirits. God knows what you have endured this night and He is near to those who call upon Him.

Know this with confidence, that Jesus Christ has authority over every evil spirit. The evil spirits belong to the enemy, but Christ came to scatter the enemy's goods and to make his arts useless. The devil is called the ruler of this world, but he does not rule heaven and earth. He rules only over those who give themselves to him. He has nothing in Christ, and when we belong to Christ we are under the protection of the One who is stronger. The twelve apostles were assailed by the devil and by evil spirits without number throughout their whole lives, and they prevailed not by their own strength but because Christ was with them and turned many from darkness to light.

Do not be afraid, even though you feel ill and troubled. Fear gives the enemy more room in our thoughts. Instead turn your heart continually to Christ. When the law of God is written on the soul, when the heart becomes like tablets to write it on, the evil one cannot even look upon it but turns away. This comes by staying close to the house of healing, by hearing the Scriptures, by keeping them in your mind when you go home, and by steady prayer. A mind that hangs over this fountain enjoys calm even in the midst of storm.

You said you do not know what to do or how to pray. Scripture teaches that we often do not know what we should pray for as we ought, and that the Holy Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered. Even when you are too weary or restless to form words, the Spirit is interceding for you according to the will of God. Simply call upon the name of Jesus, ask for His mercy and His peace, and trust that He hears.

I pray for you now, that God would grant you His immediate help and presence, that He would rebuke every evil influence and bring you peace, that He would calm your body and mind and grant you restful sleep, and that He would heal you in body and soul according to His gracious will. I ask that He would fill your heart with His Word and keep you in His calm.

At the same time, please care for your body. What you describe with hot and cold, sweating, restlessness and sleeplessness is also common in the time of menopause, and it can make you feel very ill and anxious. It is wise to seek medical care promptly. Please speak with your doctor soon, and if you feel very unwell, seek help right away. Tell a trusted pastor or a mature believer near you what is happening so they can pray with you in person, stay with you, and help you get both spiritual and medical support. Try to rest in a quiet, cool place, drink water, and let someone you trust know you have not slept.

Keep praying short, simple prayers through the day and night, such as Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me, and read aloud a psalm or the Lord's Prayer when fear rises. Do not seek out strange methods or those who use the name of Jesus as a trade. Stay within the care of your local church where the Word is taught faithfully.

You are not alone. I will continue to pray for your peace, your sleep, and your health, that God would drive away all error and fear and establish you in the joy and strength of Christ.
