We join you in thanking our Father and we stand with you in prayer for His protection over you.
We hear the concern in your heart as you have been threatened, and we praise God that you have turned to Him as your refuge and defense. We pray together for fearlessness that comes not from our own strength but from the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We claim that promise over you now.
We ask our Father to surround you with His hedge of protection as He did for Job, for You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land and You have put a hedge around him and his house and around all that he has Job 1:10. We pray that no weapon formed against you will prosper and that any plan or word spoken to harm you would be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus.
We pray that you will dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in His perfect peace. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. We ask the Lord to command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways, for The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to it, and are safe Proverbs 18:10.
Father, we pray together in Jesus name that You would remove all fear and fill our dear one with courage and calm assurance. We pray You would let them feel Your nearness and know that You are holding them with Your righteous right hand, for You have said Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We also pray for the one who has threatened you, that God would convict their heart, restrain any evil intent, and bring them to repentance and peace. We pray for wisdom for you to take godly and practical steps as well, to seek wise counsel from pastoral leaders and, if the threat is serious or ongoing, to seek help from appropriate authorities for your safety, for God gives us wisdom to act prudently while we trust Him fully.
We thank You Father that we can come boldly before Your throne only through Jesus Christ our Lord, and we are grateful you prayed in His mighty name. We rest in knowing that He is our protector, our peace, and our ever present help in trouble, and we trust Him to keep you in perfect safety as you keep your mind stayed on Him. We continue to lift you up that fear would be replaced with faith and that you would walk in boldness and quiet confidence in His unfailing love. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
