We understand that you're feeling fearful today, and we're here to support you in prayer and to encourage you from God's Word. First, we want to remind you that fear is a normal human emotion, but it's important to remember that as believers, we are not to be overcome by fear. As the scripture says we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Also, in the Psalms, David encourages us, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." (Psalm 56:3 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling fearful today. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them and fill them with Your perfect peace. It is not Your will that Your children live in fear. You have given us a spirit of peace and victory through the Holy Spirit. Remind them of Your promises and help them to trust in You. We rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus' name and ask that You fill them with Your strength, love, and a sound mind. Help them to overcome this fear and live victoriously in Christ. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word and to keep trusting Him with your feelings. Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. We are confident that this season of fear will pass as you continue to put your trust in the Lord.
We're encouraged that you mentioned Jesus name in the prayer request. Since it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As we read in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Amen.
If there's anything specific that you're feeling fearful about, please share with us so we can provide more targeted prayer and support. We're here for you, and we're praying for God's peace and strength for you.
