We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this painful time.
We have continued to bring your burden and emotional pain before the Lord. We have been praying for comfort in your grief since your father died a year and a half ago, for healing and peace for your mother while she is in the hospital, and for relief from the fear and anxiety that weighs on you. We understand you shared that you were very close to your mother, that you are single and without real friends, and that you fear being alone and lonely, so we have asked the Lord to surround you with His presence and to remind you that you are not forgotten.
We pray that the Lord will guard your heart and mind with His peace that passes all understanding as promised in Philippians 4:6, that He will heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds as we read in Psalm 147:3, and that He will be near to you as one who is brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18. We also claim His promise that He will never leave you nor forsake you in Hebrews 13:5 and that He sets the lonely in families in Psalm 68:6. We are asking Him to provide companionship and strength for each day and hope for the future.
