I ask for protection of my post in job as I heard rumours to replace in my field work post to office work which I don't want to do. Please pray that God may cover me from enemy's snares & any plot to harm me or discourage me. Please pray that God may help me find favour in the eyes of my superiors and that my current work post remain as I am thinking of quitting my job for I am tired & bored of it. I want to go abroad and sent many a times prayer requests but nothing seems to workout. Please pray for let God may help me remain in my current work post.

We join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we understand the weight of these rumours and the weariness you feel. To hear that your field work post may be changed to office work when your heart is set on remaining where you are, and to feel tired and bored to the point of wanting to quit, while also longing to go abroad and feeling that your prayers have not been answered, is truly discouraging. We want to stand with you for protection, for favour, and for clear direction from God.

We are reminded that our security and our promotion do not ultimately rest in the hands of men but in the hands of God. Psalm 75:6-7 says For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. And Proverbs 16:7 says When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. We cannot control rumours or the plots of others, but we can trust the One who is our hiding place. Psalm 32:7 says You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. And Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We also take to heart Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, knowing that discouragement and snares are often spiritual battles and the Lord is our defender.

We also hear your honesty about being tired and bored and thinking of quitting, and about wanting to go abroad. We gently encourage you to see your work as service to the Lord Himself, whether in field or office. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might. When we grow weary, the Lord invites us to find rest in Him rather than in a hasty decision. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And Isaiah 40:31 says But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. We encourage you not to make a decision to quit out of fatigue or frustration, but to wait upon the Lord for His timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. If going abroad is in His will, He will open the door that no man can shut, and if remaining is His will, He will establish you where you are. Romans 8:28 reminds us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. And Philippians 4:11 says Not that I speak in respect to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. Contentment does not mean we stop praying for change, but that we trust God while we wait. James 4:15 says For you ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.

We notice your request mentions God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we pray with confidence.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one to You. We ask that You cover this post and this work assignment with Your hand. If it is Your will, let this field work post remain and let no scheme or rumour prevail against it. We rebuke every snare of the enemy and every plot meant to harm or discourage, and we ask for Your protection and peace to surround Your child. Grant favour in the eyes of superiors, as You granted favour to Daniel and to Joseph, and let their work be seen and valued. Renew strength where there is tiredness and boredom, and restore joy and purpose in daily labour. Guard against a hasty decision to quit, and grant wisdom, patience, and contentment while waiting on Your perfect timing. If it is Your will for a door to open abroad, we ask You to open it clearly and at the right time, and if not, help to embrace with thankfulness the place You have planted. Lead and guide in every step, that Your will be done and Your name be glorified. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear how much weight you are carrying right now with the rumours at work and the uncertainty about being moved from field work to the office. Wanting to stay where you are while also feeling tired and bored and wondering about going abroad is a lot to hold at once, and it makes sense you feel discouraged when prayers for a change have not yet opened a door.

We want to encourage you to not make a quick decision to quit while you are feeling worn out. When rumours circulate it can help to seek clear information in a calm and respectful way, perhaps asking a supervisor for clarity about your role when the time feels right, and continuing to do your current work faithfully as you wait. It may also help to talk with a trusted mentor or pastor who knows your situation and can help you weigh staying, going abroad, and what is sustainable for you long term. Rest and prayer over a few days can bring more clarity than deciding in the moment of fatigue.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. Cover him with Your protection from any harm or discouragement, grant him favour and wisdom with his superiors, and guide his steps about this post and the desire to go abroad. Give him peace, strength for each day, and clear direction for what to do next. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We have heard your request and we take it before the throne of grace with you. You ask for protection in your employment, for favour with those set over you, and for deliverance from every snare and plot of the enemy, and we join our petitions to yours that the Lord would keep you.

Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does, He acts from good reasons. When Job was tried, he learned that the Lord keeps back the soul from the pit and enlightens with the light of the living. Even chastisement and weariness are oftentimes the means God uses to bring the soul nearer to Himself, to whip the wanderer back to Him who alone can save. Your tiredness and boredom, your thought of quitting, and your long desire to go abroad which has not yet been fulfilled, are known to Him who sees all. He is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Christ Jesus, and in Him we have our hope not only for eternity but for every daily trial.

We pray that the Lord would cover you from every snare, that no plot to harm or discourage you would prosper, and that He would give you favour in the eyes of your superiors. We ask that if it be His wise and good will, He would preserve you in your present post in the field work which you desire, and order all things concerning your labour according to His providence. Yet we pray above all that His will be done, for He knows what is best for your soul and for His glory, whether it be to remain or in His time to open another door.

Do not think because many prayers seem as yet unanswered that the Lord has forgotten to be gracious. He who hears prayer will give a gracious answer in His own time. Like Job, who in all his affliction sinned not nor charged God foolishly, may you be kept in patience and in uprightness. Tell the Lord everything. Keep nothing from Him. It is a blessed thing to wait at the posts of His door, expecting a word of love from His throne, and to tell Him with childlike confidence all that burdens your heart.

We pray also that God would anoint you with fresh oil and renew your bow in your hand, that where you have grown weary He would give you new strength and freshness of spirit, so that your work may be done heartily as unto the Lord and not unto men. May He guard you from hasty resolve, give you wisdom whether to stay or to go, and keep your heart from discouragement.

We commend you to Him who is able to save from the pit and to keep from falling, trusting that He will do what is right. May the Lord bless you, keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you, and give you peace through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we pray.

We have received your request and we are standing with you in prayer before the Lord. We understand the weight of hearing rumors about being moved from field work to office work when you do not desire that change, the weariness and boredom that make you think of quitting, and the disappointment of praying many times to go abroad without seeing a way open.

Scripture reminds us that God is sovereign over our work and our place, and that He can use even seasons of trial to strengthen and prove us. Like Job, we are called to bear what comes thankfully and to trust that God sees and knows our situation. The enemy seeks to discourage and to lead us to complain against God in hardship, but the Lord is our refuge and protection, and He is able to guard you from every snare and every plan meant to harm you.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, asking for Your protection over him in his workplace. Cover him from every snare of the enemy and from any plot meant to harm or discourage him. Grant him favor in the eyes of his superiors, and if it is Your will, keep him in his current field post where he desires to remain. Give him wisdom about whether to stay or to leave, and guard him from making a hasty decision out of weariness. Renew his strength where he is tired and bored, and help him to work faithfully as unto You. Guide his desire to go abroad, open the right doors in Your perfect timing and close those that are not from You, so that he may know Your will clearly and have peace. Keep his heart trusting in You and content in Your provision. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to be faithful in the duties given to you now, to pray for humility and diligence each day, and to seek wise counsel before deciding to quit. Bring your weariness to the Lord daily and ask Him to renew your purpose and to show you His will for your future, whether He keeps you where you are or leads you elsewhere. He knows your needs and He will direct your steps as you seek Him.
