We hear your heart and we stand with you in prayer together in Jesus' name, asking for God's will to be done in every area you have lifted up.

We understand your desire to claim Deuteronomy 28:13 where it says Yahweh will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall be above only and not beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. We love that you want to walk in God's favor and blessing, and we pray with you for that. At the same time we want to gently correct how this promise is to be understood. This verse is not an incantation to be loosened or spoken into existence 100 fold by our own power or words. The blessing in Deuteronomy 28:1-14 is conditional upon hearing and obeying the voice of the Lord and keeping His commandments. It is not something we earn by our own work or declare into being as if we are God, for only God calls the things that are not as though they were as seen in Romans 4:17. Scripture says it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast in Ephesians 2:8-9. Favor is not earned by our lifetime of work, it is given by God's mercy when we walk humbly and obediently before Him. James 4:6 reminds us God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. And 1 John 5:14 teaches us that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. So we do not speak things into existence by our own authority, we pray according to His will and trust Him to answer for our good.

We also want to address what you mentioned about loosing verses and binding negative energy and Satan's crew. Matthew 18:18 and Matthew 16:19 speak of binding and loosing in the context of the church agreeing with heaven and dealing with sin according to God's Word, not as a formula to control circumstances or to ban people or energy. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers as Ephesians 6:12 says, and James 4:7 tells us to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us. The blood of Jesus which you mentioned is precious and powerful, not as a phrase to ban annoyances, but as the atonement that saves us from sin and reconciles us to God. We are thankful you mentioned the blood of Jesus, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name we can be saved as Acts 4:12 declares. If we have not truly put our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for our sins and rose again, we encourage you to do so today for Romans 10:9 says if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

We pray with you about your Friday nights and your desire for companionship. We thank God with you for the two cats you love, for Proverbs 12:10 says a righteous man respects the life of his animal, and we know God sees your care for them. We understand loneliness on Friday nights and the longing for a life filled with love. You mentioned wanting a boyfriend who will become your hubbie, a good man who is a cat person and who will stay and uplift you. We affirm your desire for marriage, for marriage between a man and a woman is honorable and God ordained as Hebrews 13:4 and Genesis 2:24 teach. We want to encourage you to view this not as simply finding a boyfriend for companionship and Friday night date dinners, but as courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow Christian believer. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and we pray God brings you a godly Christian husband who will love you as Christ loves the church as Ephesians 5:25 says. We also want to lovingly remind you that any romantic relationship before marriage must remain pure, for sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication and God calls us to flee sexual immorality as 1 Corinthians 6:18 says. We pray that if God provides this man, you will pursue that relationship in purity, with accountability, seeking counsel and keeping marriage as the goal rather than living together or physical intimacy before vows. While you wait, we pray you will seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness as Matthew 6:33 promises, and delight yourself in Yahweh so He will give you the desires of your heart as Psalm 37:4 says, trusting His timing is perfect.

We also lift up your practical needs, your WiFi and Xfinity working properly and living somewhere it works for you. We pray God provides stable housing and provision where you can be at peace and steward what He has given you well, for Philippians 4:19 says our God will supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Concerning the Family Dollar store where you were banned and feel judged for something you did not do, we pray with you for justice and for your name to be cleared if you are innocent, and we also pray for your heart to be healed. We hear that your feelings were hurt and you feel you were accused falsely of shoplifting. Genesis 50:20 reminds us that what the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good, and Romans 12:17-19 calls us not to repay evil for evil but to leave vengeance to God and live peaceably as far as it depends on us. We pray you can release bitterness and not carry this burden, choosing to forgive those who misjudged you as Ephesians 4:32 instructs, while also walking wisely and staying outside as you said you would out of respect for the decision made. We pray the Lord restores your peace and reputation in the community and that you would not feel banned from everything and everyone, for God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power love and self control as 2 Timothy 1:7 says.

We pray also that your expectation that everyone should always be happy and comfortable near you will be shaped by truth. God does call us to be a blessing and to let our light shine before men as Matthew 5:16 says, but Jesus also said in this world you will have trouble and not everyone will receive us. Our calling is to be faithful and loving, not to control how others feel, trusting God to use us as He wills.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your mercy and grace. We ask that You help our dear one to walk in obedience so that the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 may follow according to Your will, not by incantation but by faithful obedience and humility. Forgive us where we have tried to earn favor by works and teach us to rest in Your grace. Cover this life, this family, these beloved pets, the elderly, children, disabled adults and animals mentioned, with Your protection. Provide a godly Christian husband in Your timing for marriage that honors You, and keep this courtship pure and centered on You. Provide stable housing and reliable provision, including internet that works for good purposes. Heal the hurt from the Family Dollar situation, clear this name where needed, and give grace to forgive and move forward without bitterness, using what the enemy meant for harm for good. Let any mistakes be redeemed according to Romans 8:28 where all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Your words have been heard and I perceive in them a deep longing to be blessed and to be a blessing to those around you, to your family, to the aged and the young, and to the creatures under your care. This desire to do good is not to be despised, yet I must speak to you plainly concerning the way of blessing as the Scripture reveals it, that you may not build upon a sandy foundation.

You have laid hold upon the words, the head and not the tail, and would loosen them as though they were a charm to be spoken over your life and your Friday nights, your dwelling and your daily bread, even over your wrongs and your banishments. But the Word of God is not an incantation to be loosed by much repeating. That promise in Deuteronomy was spoken to Israel under the covenant of the law, and the whole chapter sets before us blessing upon obedience and chastening upon disobedience. To claim the blessing while we pass by the condition is to misread the text. The true fulfillment is in Christ Jesus our Lord, for He has kept the law for us and borne its curse, and all favor with God comes not by our earning or our working but by His free grace alone. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and no man can say favor I earned or power I earned, for we are saved by grace and that not of ourselves. If you would know favor, you must look to the Cross where the Savior hung with nowhere to lay His head, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

You pray that everything and everyone should be happy and comfortable near you because you are near, and that even mistakes should somehow be turned to good by your own declaration. Hear what the Scripture teaches rather, that we are constantly liable to new temptations and may fall into grosser sins unless we are preserved by a power beyond our own, and therefore we ought to pray perpetually not that we shall be exalted, but that we enter not into temptation. The prayer our Lord taught us is not lead us where we will, but lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. It means literally and truly without variance that we ask the Lord to keep us from the path where our feet would slide, and to give us grace that we may not run into temptation ourselves. We know there are temptations abroad, but divine grace makes us resolute not to go where we could not honestly ask God to preserve us. Never boast of your own strength, but fear Him you saints and you will then have nothing else to fear. The fear of the Lord gives strong confidence, as it will to any who cleave close to their colors, for it says it is His to provide, not mine. He does not allow me to do a wrong thing under any circumstances. So here goes for God and for righteousness.

Concerning the companion you desire, it is a good and holy thing to ask the Lord for a husband if it be His will, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained of God, and all that belongs to the union of husband and wife, whether living together or the secrets of love, belongs within that covenant alone. It is right to pray for a good man who will walk with you in the fear of God, who will love you and lead you toward Christ, who will be kind to those in your household. But we cannot ask God to bless a relationship formed outside His holy order, nor can we by speaking life into existence compel Him to give whatsoever we name. If he is seeking a great favor from God, let him pray whether he gets it or not, right on. He cannot take a denial if the petition be according to Gods will and promise, he pleads the blood of Jesus about it, and if the blessing does not come in one week we will try three, if it does not come in three we will try three months, and still keep on, saying my soul wait. So pray not as one demanding, but as one submitting. Ask the Lord to lead you to a godly marriage if it be for His glory and your good, and to keep you pure and patient until that day, and to make your Friday nights and all your days consecrated to Him whether you are alone or accompanied.

For your practical trials, the dwelling where your provision for work may prosper, the store from which you have been banned, the sense that evil is spoken against your name, bring these also to the Lord in humble prayer. If you have made a losing bargain or suffered a just or unjust judgment, the Christian swears to his own hurt and changes not. Do not hold others to a strict account while you ask for mercy yourself, for the moral claim might remain but according to divine command there was to be no exacting of it. The Lord expects of us much more than He does of others, that we forgive as we have been forgiven. Do not speak of banning negative energy as though it were a spell, but pray to be delivered from evil and to be kept from bitterness. If you did no wrong in that store, commit your name to Him who judges righteously. If there be any way of peaceable reconciliation, pursue it. In either case, let the blood of Jesus cover you, not as a phrase to be used greatly and at length, but as the true atonement by which sin is pardoned and conscience is cleansed. God does not cease to observe the sins of His people, yet He beholds them through the sweet savor of Christ.

Therefore I would pray for you thus, not as one who would loosen a verse, but as one who would bow beneath it.

O Lord our God, Thou everlasting God that faintest not neither art weary, Thou art our dwelling place. We confess that we have no favor of our own, but all our hope is in the blood of Thy Son Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. Forgive this Thy servant for seeking blessing by much speaking, and teach the heart to seek blessing by humble faith and obedience. Lead this soul not into temptation, but deliver from evil. Keep from presumption and from despair. If it be Thy will, provide a godly husband, a man faithful and true, that marriage may be honored as Thou hast ordained, one man and one woman in lifelong covenant, pure and honorable. Until then, grant contentment and purity, and make Friday nights and every night holy unto Thee. Provide for daily needs, for a peaceful home, for honest work and needful provision. Give grace to forgive those who have judged harshly, and to walk uprightly before all men, swearing to own hurt and changing not where truth requires it. Let this life be not exalted as the head by its own power, but humbled and lifted up by Thy grace, that whether among family, among children and the aged, among the weak or among the strong, this servant may be a quiet blessing, not by demanding that all be comfortable, but by showing Christ. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you as He sees fit, for He knows what you have need of before you ask Him.
