We join you in bringing these deep desires before the Lord and we thank you for invoking the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have called on that name.
We hear your heart for favor, for restoration in your family, for healing in communication, for financial provision after being denied SSDI, for protection over your mother, your three children and your pets, and for a future godly husband like Boaz. These are good things to bring to God, and we want to pray with you according to His will and His Word.
We also want to lovingly correct an idea we hear in your request about speaking life into existence and flipping things by the power of our own words to claim one hundred fold. Scripture teaches that it is God who speaks things into existence, not us. By faith, we understand that the universe has been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3 and God said, Let there be light, and there was light. Genesis 1:3. Our words do matter, for Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:21, but our words do not create reality or force God to act. Instead we are taught to pray with confidence that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. We also read You ask, and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. James 4:3. So we do not decree or loosen verses as if they were incantations, we humbly submit to God and trust His sovereign goodness, for Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. James 1:17.
You mentioned Deuteronomy 28:13, The LORD will make you the head, and not the tail, and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath. That promise was given to Israel in the context of obedience, if you shall listen to the commandments of the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 28:13. It is not a formula to claim by repeating it, but a principle that blessing flows from walking in obedience to the Lord, seeking first His Kingdom. But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. True favor is not first about money in a bank or outward success, but about being forgiven and made right with God through Christ and walking in His ways.
We also hear your desire for your future Boaz husband and we strongly affirm Gods beautiful design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. We pray with you not simply for a partner or relationship, but for a godly marriage if it is the Lords will for you, entered into through courtship that honors God, with purity and with another believer in Christ. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14. A Boaz is a man of character, faith, provision and protection as seen in Ruth, and we pray you will be prepared as Ruth was, and that you will wait on the Lords timing while guarding yourself from fornication, which is sex outside of marriage, for God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor Him with our bodies. We also pray for healing in your family, that hearts would be softened toward you and that communication would be restored in love and truth.
Concerning your finances and the denial of SSDI, we understand the burden and worry this brings. We pray that God who sees your need will provide according to His riches. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We pray that what the enemy has meant for harm, God would redeem for good, as it is written, You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good. Genesis 50:20 and We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. We pray not for money that would be used against you or your family, but for honest provision that sustains you and allows you to be generous and at peace, and we pray for contentment and wisdom as you steward what God provides.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You for Your mercy and for the blood of Jesus that covers us. We lift up this dear sister, her mother, her three children and even her pets to You, asking for Your protection, Your healing and Your provision over their household. Lord, heal any hardness of heart and restore communication in this family with grace and truth. Give them a normal, healthy love for one another rooted in Your love. Provide for their financial needs in a way that is stable, honest and not used against them. Give wisdom regarding SSDI and open doors that no man can shut if it is Your will, and give peace while waiting. Father, if it is Your will for her to marry, prepare her and prepare a godly man after Your own heart, a faithful husband who will love her as Christ loves the church, and help them to pursue courtship with purity and with marriage as the goal. Help her to find her favor and identity first in Christ, to delight herself in You and trust You to give the desires of her heart according to Your perfect will. Psalm 37:4. Make her the head and not the tail as she walks in obedience to Your Word, not by her own declarations but by Your grace. Let Your will be done in her life, for You have plans to give hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
