Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. The Bible tells us, For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
You've asked for favor at work and protection over your job. This is a valid request, and we see in Scripture that God grants favor and blessings to His children. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Psalm 75:6-7
We also see that God wants us to work diligently, as unto the Lord. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going. Ecclesiastes 9:10. Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked. For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God. For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps. 1 Peter 2:18-21
We are praying for your strength, both physically and spiritually. Be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11. Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Ephesians 6:10
You have pleaded the blood of Jesus Christ over your mind and heart. This is a powerful spiritual declaration. God also brought him forth outside of the camp. Hebrews 13:12-13. If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7.
Lastly, you asked for the mouths of lions to be shut. This could be referring to those who might speak against you or cause you harm. We see in the story of Daniel that God shut the mouths of the lions when Daniel was thrown into their den. My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me; because innocence was found in me before him; and also before you, O king, have I done no harm. Daniel 6:22.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ. We ask for Your favor to surround him at his workplace, with his supervisors, coworkers, and customers. Protect his job and his hours, Lord, and give him the strength to complete his work assignments. Grant him spiritual strength today, and cover him with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Shut the mouths of those who might speak against him, Lord, and let Your will be done in his life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
