๐Ÿ“– "Pray then after this manner:

๐Ÿ™Œ โ€˜Our Father who is in Heaven,
๐Ÿ™ Your Name be Honored!
Your kingdom Come!
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!
<โ€”โ€”โ€”--------โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”------โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”>
๐Ÿ™ Give us our daily bread.
Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿคบ.

๐Ÿ™Œ For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts aligned to the pattern our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:9-13. You have rightly emphasized the priority of Godโ€™s glory, kingdom, and will above all else, just as Christ instructed, "But seek first Godโ€™s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33). This is the foundation of all true prayer: exalting the Father, surrendering to His will, and trusting Him to provide for our needs.

We lift up the provision of daily bread, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17). Father, we ask You to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of Your children, just as You fed the Israelites in the wilderness and sustained Elijah by the brook. You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to supply all things according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also bring before You the need for right relationship, first with You, then with others. "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar and remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift" (Matthew 5:23-24). Forgiveness is not optional for those who have been forgiven much (Ephesians 4:32). Father, reveal any bitterness, unforgiveness, or broken fellowship in our lives, and grant us the grace to walk in reconciliation as Christ reconciled us to You.

Protection from evil is another critical plea in the Lordโ€™s Prayer. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we are not ignorant of his devices. We stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and praying at all times in the Spirit. Deliver us from temptation, Lord, and strengthen us to resist sin, for Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We must also address a matter of reverence in prayer. While the Lordโ€™s Prayer is a model, it is essential to remember that we do not pray to a distant or generic "Father" but to the Father through Jesus Christ, our Mediator. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" (John 14:6). There is no access to God apart from the shed blood of Christ (Hebrews 10:19-22). We pray in Jesusโ€™ name because He is the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We honor Your holy name and declare that Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, just as it is in heaven. Father, we ask for our daily bread, meet every need according to Your glorious riches. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Search our hearts, Lord, and reveal any unforgiveness or bitterness that hinders our relationship with You and others. Cleanse us by the blood of Jesus and fill us with Your love.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Clothe us in Your armor, that we may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Protect us, our families, and our brothers and sisters in Christ from spiritual attack, sickness, and harm. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we surrender our lives afresh to You. May we seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add all we need. Let our lives reflect Your glory, and may we walk in obedience to Your Word. We pray this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Continue to abide in Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Let the Word of God dwell in you richly, and may your prayers be ever aligned with His will. If there are areas of your life that do not reflect His righteousness, whether in relationships, habits, or priorities, repent and turn to Him. He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the light as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus will continually cleanse you from sin.

Thank you for inviting us to pray with you in this way. Itโ€™s a gift when someone leads us right to the prayer Jesus taught, reminding us to set our gaze on the Fatherโ€™s glory first and then to bring every need, bread, forgiveness, guidance, protection, into His hands. Weโ€™re joining you in that.

Praying these words daily can do more than shape our requests; it gently reorders our hearts. When we begin with โ€œYour kingdom come,โ€ weโ€™re not just saying something pious; weโ€™re surrendering the dayโ€™s agenda and anchoring ourselves to what God is already doing. That simple shift often quiets the noise of worry and makes a little more room for trust.

One thing weโ€™ve found helpful is to linger on each petition and fill in the blanks with real life. Instead of breezing through โ€œGive us our daily bread,โ€ pause and name the specific provision you need today, a bill thatโ€™s looming, strength for a hard task, a relationship that feels depleted. When you reach โ€œforgive us,โ€ let the Spirit bring someone to mind and choose to release them right there. And under โ€œdeliver us from evil,โ€ ask for protection over your mind and the ones you love. Making it that personal turns a beautiful church prayer into the quiet conversation it was always meant to be.

Our prayer for you right now:

Father, we lift up this one who so clearly desires Your kingdom above all else. Let that desire shape every corner of their life. Give them what they truly need today, bread for body and soul. Grant them the deep assurance of Your forgiveness, and the grace to extend it freely to others. Lead them away from what would harm, and hem them in with Your protection. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. In Jesusโ€™ name, amen.

You have rightly set the first petition where it must ever be, that the Fatherโ€™s name be honored, His kingdom come, His will be done. This is the divine order of true prayer, and it silences the clamor of selfish desires. When a soul learns first to seek the glory of God, then every lesser need falls into its proper place. The heart that pants for His kingdom will not go unblessed in the matter of daily bread. I charge you, press this pattern upon your spirit, for the promise is sure, seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. This is not a matter of mere recitation but of holy alignment; the Fatherโ€™s glory becomes the sweet constraint that shapes every groan and every plea.

Yet while you set the Lordโ€™s honor in the forefront, I perceive the deep-felt cry that rises from your heart for daily bread, for forgiveness, for deliverance from the evil one. Take comfort, then, in this: the God who has found a ransom to deliver you from the pit of Hell will not withhold from you the lesser mercies of daily provision. He who gave His own dear Son to put away your sin, will He not with Him also freely give you all things? Let that mighty ransom be the anchor of your soul! For God charged His Son with your deliverance and said, โ€œDeliver him from going down to the Pit.โ€ If He has so graciously rescued you from eternal destruction, your temporal wants are light things to Him. The same hand that broke the chains of your guilt shall supply your needs. Only trust, and let not your faith rest upon the things seen, but upon the faithful Promiser, who cannot lie.

You plead for the forgiveness of debts, and you do well, for this is the daily cry of the justified man. But mark well the holy condition that our Lord has riveted to this petition, โ€œas we forgive our debtors.โ€ Let no root of bitterness spring up within you. How can you, who have been forgiven ten thousand talents, take your brother by the throat for a hundred pence? The pardon you have received is a continuous, an eternal, a divine forgiveness, it blots out sin as a thick cloud. Let the sweetness of that free pardon so melt your spirit that you become a fountain of mercy to all who trespass against you. Forgive, I say, freely and from the heart, knowing that this is no meritorious work, but the natural outflow of a soul that has itself been washed in the fountain opened for sin and uncleanness.

And as for the cry, โ€œLead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,โ€ it is a prayer most needful. The archers of Satan are ever busy, and there is one temptation that finds the joints of the harness, the dark insinuation that God has forsaken us. When that arrow bites deep, then is the hour of peril. But remember, all your ills lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling. Your sorrows spring not from the dust; the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner. This is chastisement from a Fatherโ€™s hand, not the punishment of a Judge. He has delivered you from the power of darkness, and He will deliver you yet. Let the recollection of past deliverances fuel your present confidence. Did He not meet you at your own Jabbok, and turn the heart of Esau? Will He not be the same faithful God to you now? Cast yourself upon His keeping power, and sing, even in the midst of the battle, the songs of deliverance. The God who declares, โ€œI, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions,โ€ is also your shield and your exceeding great reward. Therefore, fear not; you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
