πŸ™Œ For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of reverence, lifting up this beautiful reflection on the Lord’s Prayer and the call to seek first God’s kingdom. How precious it is to align our prayers with the pattern Jesus Himself taught us, acknowledging our Heavenly Father as holy, submitting to His will, and trusting in His provision, forgiveness, and protection. The Scripture reminds us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." This is the foundation of our walk with the Lord, prioritizing His glory, His will, and His ways above all else.

We are also reminded of 1 John 5:18, which speaks of the victory we have in Christ: "We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him." This verse reassures us that when we abide in Christ, we are protected and empowered to walk in righteousness. However, we must also examine our hearts to ensure we are not harboring sin or rebellion, for sin separates us from the fullness of God’s presence and provision. If there are areas in our lives where we are not fully surrendered to His will, whether in our relationships, finances, or personal conduct, we must repent and turn back to Him.

Let us now pray together, lifting up these truths before the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and grateful hearts, acknowledging that You alone are holy, righteous, and worthy of all honor. Your name is above every name, and Your kingdom reigns forever. We surrender our wills to Yours, asking that Your purposes be fulfilled in our lives just as they are in heaven. Lord, we trust in Your provision, knowing that You care for us and will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us, Father, for the times we have sought our own ways or held onto bitterness toward others. Teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and guard our hearts from the temptations of the enemy. Deliver us from evil, and strengthen us to walk in Your truth.

We also lift up the relationships in our lives, Lord. May our interactions with others reflect Your love and holiness. For those who are seeking a spouse, we pray that You would guide them to a godly partner who shares their faith and commitment to You. Let their courtship be pure, honoring to You, and rooted in the desire for a lifelong covenant of marriage. Father, we rebuke any ungodly relationships or impure intentions, for Your Word warns us against fornication and adultery. Help us to flee from sexual immorality and to honor You with our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit. For those struggling with same-sex attraction or relationships, we pray for Your healing and transformation, that they may walk in the truth of Your design for marriage and sexuality.

Lord, we also ask that You would protect us from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to distort Your Word and lead us astray. Help us to stand firm on the truth of Scripture, knowing that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we declare that salvation is found in no one else. For those who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to the truth, and lead them to repentance and faith.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. May Your kingdom come, Your will be done, and Your name be glorified in all the earth. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're grateful for the reminder that prayer begins with the Father's glory, then flows into our daily needs. That order, God's name, kingdom, and will first, keeps our hearts right, and we've seen it bring peace when life feels uncertain. When we pray this way, we're not just reciting words; we're letting our whole perspective be reshaped around who He is. It anchors us in His love and purposes, and that's where real hope lives, even when answers aren't immediate.

We join you in praying along these lines:

Our Father in heaven, we honor Your name. We want Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done, right here and now, just as it is in heaven. Thank You that You already know what we need. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

May you continue to find steady ground in these words, and know we're standing with you before our Father, trusting Him together.

The prayer you have lifted before the throne is framed aright, seeking first the glory of the Father and the coming of His kingdom before ever a petition for daily bread or deliverance. Yet I perceive in the cry of your heart a deeper trembling, a lingering fear that for you, with your particular burden of sin, the forgiveness you seek might somehow be withheld. You have laid hold of the pattern of prayer, but does your soul lay hold of the assurance that the Father hears?

Let this whisper drive away despair: There is forgiveness. Let it enter your soul and drive those grim ogres of doubt into the sea of forgetfulness. We come to you not merely with a hopeful whisper, but with a full, distinct, emphatic, unquestionable assurance. The text draws no limit. It does not say there is forgiveness for this sin or for that, but simply, There is forgiveness. Where God draws no line, do not you draw one.

I cannot help noticing the completeness of this forgiveness. Suppose you call on your creditor, saying you have nothing to pay; imagine then that he not only cancels the debt but burns the ledger. This is the divine way. O man, let me catch you in my arms and tell you that however sinful your life has been, there is forgiveness with God even for you. One more step and you may be where no forgiveness can reach, but now, at this very moment, the clock of mercy strikes the hour of deliverance.

And I want you to remember who it is that sends the forgiveness. You are anxious perhaps to run from Him, but that is where the forgiveness lies, with God. Where the offense went, from that very place the forgiveness comes. He says, even He, I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. It is a surprising forgiveness, as if God himself were astonished that such sins could be remitted, and so He repeats it lest any of us should doubt.

As for the deliverance you crave from the archers of temptation and the pit of daily peril, know this: it comes when the Lamb is slain. The ransom is found. Nobody would have thought of a way of deliverance from the pit through a substitute if God had not invented it. And He brings us forth with silver and gold of increased grace and richer experience. The remembrance of our own deliverance out of bondage is meant to make us merciful, even as we forgive our debtors. It is to be as natural as breathing for one who has been forgiven so much.

Therefore, when you pray, do not come as one hoping there might be a possibility, but as one who has the certainty. Pronounce that Shibboleth of free grace without faltering. You can take not an atom of the honor for your deliverance; it must be of free grace only. And that is your safety. His kingdom, His power, His glory, all are pledged for your eternal well-being.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
