๐Ÿ™Œ โ€˜Our Father who is in Heaven,
๐Ÿ™ Your Name be Honored!
Your kingdom Come!
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!

๐Ÿ™ Give us our daily bread.
Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿคบ.

๐Ÿ™Œ For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We see your heartโ€™s desire to seek Godโ€™s glory first and trust in His provision, and we join you in lifting this up before the throne of grace. The Lordโ€™s Prayer is indeed a beautiful model for us, reminding us to prioritize Godโ€™s kingdom and will above all else before presenting our needs. We are encouraged by your reverence for Scripture and your commitment to honoring the Fatherโ€™s name.

Let us first address the Scripture reference you mentioned, 1 John 7:18. We must gently point out that 1 John only has 5 chapters, so there may be a typographical error in the verse reference. However, we believe you are likely referring to 1 John 5:18, which says, "We know that whoever is born of God doesnโ€™t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesnโ€™t touch him." This verse reminds us of the victory we have in Christ and the protection we receive as His children when we walk in obedience.

We also want to emphasize the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If we do not approach God through Jesus, our prayers cannot reach Him. We encourage you to always lift your prayers in Jesusโ€™ name, for it is by His authority and merit that we are heard.

Now, let us pray together for Godโ€™s provision and glory to be manifest in your life:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of reverence and trust, knowing that You are our Provider and Sustainer. We honor Your holy name and ask that Your kingdom would come and Your will be done in our lives, just as it is in heaven. Lord, we lift up our daily needs to You, trusting that You will supply all that we require according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive those who have wronged us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.

Father, we ask that You would align our desires with Your perfect will. Help us to seek You first in all things, knowing that when we do, You will add all these things unto us (Matthew 6:33). Guard our hearts from anxiety or doubt, and fill us with Your peace as we trust in You. May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we walk in the victory that Christ has already won for us.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment in all our relationships and decisions. If there are areas where we have strayed from Your commands, whether in thought, word, or deed, convict us by Your Holy Spirit and lead us back to repentance. Help us to walk in purity, holiness, and obedience to Your Word, honoring You in all we do.

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We trust in You alone, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect timing and will. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you continue to seek Him first. Remember that Godโ€™s provision is not always about material wealth but about His presence, peace, and purpose for your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are specific needs or burdens on your heart, we encourage you to bring them before the Lord with faith, knowing that He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

We gladly join our hearts with yours in this prayer, itโ€™s a beautiful way to begin, with our eyes fixed on the Fatherโ€™s glory and His kingdom. Seeking Him first, as youโ€™re doing, really does put everything else in its right place. Thereโ€™s something grounding about simply praying the words Jesus gave us, letting each phrase remind us that we belong to a God who knows our needs before we even voice them.

We find that when we start where you started, the rest of the day has a kind of steady peace, even when circumstances havenโ€™t changed yet. So thank you for sharing this; it encouraged us too.

Letโ€™s pray together now:

Father, thank You that You invite us to come to You as Your children. We honor Your name and ask for Your kingdom to break in more fully, in our hearts, our homes, and our world. Give us today what we truly need, both physically and spiritually. Forgive us our sins, and help us to forgive others just as freely. Guard us from temptation and deliver us from evil, for we know that apart from You we can do nothing. We trust Your goodness and rest in Your power, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

How blessedly you have set the prayer in its right order: the Fatherโ€™s glory first, then your own needs added. That is the very pattern our Lord taught, and it pleases me to see a soul so honoring the divine priority. Let this be no mere form of words, but the true breathing of your heart, for the prayerless, though they repeat a form, never taste the living power.

You fix your hope upon the Fatherโ€™s will. Then hear this grand truth and let it settle every doubt: โ€œThis is the Fatherโ€™s will which has sent Me.โ€ Christ came not to do His own will, but the will of Him that sent Him, and that will is to save, to receive sinners, to lose none. When guilt whispers you are too foul, remember that when Christ forgives a sinner, it is the Fatherโ€™s will. โ€œHim that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out.โ€ Go now and see if He will cast you out. Come, you who are stained with every sin, come and put this to the proof.

You ask for daily bread, for forgiveness, for deliverance. It is all contained in that mighty word: โ€œDeliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom.โ€ The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the very moment of your deliverance, for the time had come; the eternal purpose decreed it. Only look to Jesus, simply trust Him, and you shall be saved from yourself, from the devil, from the wrath to come. Grace will complete what grace begins; He who has delivered you from the power of darkness will deliver you all the way through. Though the Lord may chasten sorely for your profit, He will never give you over to death; the rod is in a Fatherโ€™s hand, and His anger with your sin shall never blaze into wrath against you.

Make the wall of separation broad in your daily life. Shun everything impure, for you will thereby do most good to the world and find your own safety. As you honor His name, His kingdom comes in you, and His will is done on earth as in Heaven. And when you pray, let your forgiveness of others flow from the forgiveness you have received: โ€œI, even I, am He that blots out your transgressions for My own sake.โ€ He will not exact punishment at the judgment bar, for He remembers your sins no more.

Fear not that your believing will end in failure. The prayer you have lifted will be effectual. The kingdom, the power, and the glory are His forever, and He shall bring you safe to the holy hill of Zion. Only flee now from the wrath to come; lay hold upon the hope set before you. Come and welcome, just as you are, and you shall not be cast away.
